Got these as part of my 'generic dude' outfit to test out gender stuff, it masks my hips and thighs well if I keep them at my hip, though the pockets jut out a bit when I put them at my hip. They fit like a glove when I pull them to my waist though, I don't even need a belt!

Great pockets, the hammer holder is sturdy, and while the pants are a little long I think that was due to me sizing them wrong, i just cuff them and call it a day.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Pants for Carpenters and Contractors, Have Lasted for 5 Years
Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2014
I have 5 pairs of this exact pant. They lasted 5 years before they started to develop holes in the knees. They got a lot of abuse from laying tile, cutting trim on a mitre saw on the ground, or crawling under a house. Once they got holes in the knees I had to get some new ones. Besides being unsightly in public they also make putting on your pants a problem as your big toe will likely want to stick out the hole as you put them on also making the hole want to slowly rip larger as well. When using a chainsaw the wood chips will also tend to enter thru the holes and make your socks and shoes full of chips.

I checked the tags in my old pair which led me to these. B11 is the pant style. I did notice that my old tags from pants purchased 5-7 years ago said "Made in Nicaragua from Materials Sourced in the USA". These new pants say "Made in Nicaragua from Foreign Materials". Oh well. They still seem like the same tough, thick fabric.

I particularly like this color, Desert, as after 5 years of weekly washings they faded to a still nice lighter version of themselves. Putting these new pair side by side with my old showed just how much the color has changed, but instead of your normal "oh, this had faded look, I though, Oh this has lightened in color". The other darker colors of this pant after so many washings look like they are fading. I almost prefer the lighter color.

Overall I have been very happy with these pants and am very glad to own new pairs free of holes, paint, and threads at the bottoms. Well it's time to get back to work!

5 Stars Easy. Fit was as expected.

3.0 out of 5 stars Now we all like a little bit of room to breathe
Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2018
A couple things to mention here. First, holy moly are they stiff when you first get them. They are made from a tough fabric and it's no secret. I've washed them twice and they are still stiff. Used downy in the wash and dryer balls in the dryer. I've worn the a couple times and they loosen up slightly at the end of the day, but let it be known that there is an extended break-in period for these. Second, the cut is weird. I'm typically a 32x32 but after reading some reviews that they may shrink a little (and having some old pairs shrink on me from before) I chose to go up a size in the waist. I tried them on when I first got them and they fit snug or about just right which my other jeans that are 32x32 do not fit any tighter than usual so I don't think I'm getting any fatter, at least I'm telling myself that. Anyway, the waist fits ok, but the crotch area is huge. I dont know what to call it so let's say the "pinch area" between your legs where the front meets the back is down to about mid thigh. Now we all like a little bit of room to breathe, but this is ridiculous. It's too much and it feels awkward throughout the day. Even when I squat down, I feel like there is too much room and it feels like my fly is always open. That being said, I'd still buy them again, but I wold also keep an eye out for other options. The price point for a pair of work pants that wont tear in a few months is good and there are a lot of pockets. The pants feel well made and over time will probably break in nice. I haven't noticed any shrinking yet and I wash on cold and dry warm. My green ones have started to fade after 2 washes and visible fade marks are I would say out of acceptable range on the back pockets. Not something I'm overly concerned with, buit they are new and they should stay looking new for more than 2 washes.
