My daughter is really into simple white socks - no hearts, no stars, no rainbows, no stripes, can't be ankle socks or "no-shows" - just white above-the-ankle socks that aren't too thick. But all the plain white socks in the stores are either super thin and cheap-feeling or extra chunky and thick such that she can't get her shoes on. These are PERFECT. Bright white. above the ankle and thin enough to wear with all her shoes, yet thick enough to give them a soft feel. I think it os because the cotton quality is better and the weave is tighter than other socks we've tried. Imagine the perfect white bobby-socks to wear with a pair of black Mary-Janes: that's these socks.
