5.0 out of 5 stars They live up to the brand
Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2024
I had always heard that carhartt brand made great quality clothing that you could wear for years and years. I bought these overalls after trying another brand (not going to name the brand but i should have went with these from the get go) and these just fit so much better. The waste has a bit of elastic to the sides where you button them up which is appreciated as it lets you move a bit more freely. They do weigh a bit more than the other pair i bought but after seeing the quality of the fabric and stitching, i am glad. These wear really well and i have noticed that the "breaking in period" that carhartt is kind of known for is really not that bad. I will definitely get these again. The only advice i can say for people is i find the length to be the only issue with overalls, they are always too long in the leg for me so think about maybe getting a size smaller than what you wear in jeans for the inseam... the waste size is spot on though.

5.0 out of 5 stars good fit 40/36

I bought 40W/36L one size up from my Carhartt canvass work jeans at 38/34. The paper Label on the suspenders and Carhartt sizeing recommend buying your pant size, but I'm confident that would have been too small or tight for my farming life style.
I'm 6'4" 230lb, no gutt and they fit good with wearing thin Long Johns plus light underwear underneath, as they aren't insulated. They do run a little long so I could have gotten 34L. I'll machine wash in cold water and sun hang dry when possible to avoid shrinking. I don't like tight clothes as they hamper my active and physical work movements.
The brass suspender clasps are a little hard to clasp but I think with gentle filing or sanding they'll work better. Other than that, they look of Carhartt quality and Amazon's price and fast free delivery
was the best. Next week we'll be cuttin and bucking two beetle riddled 100+ft. pines and that will be a test of my 1st Mexican made Carhartt.
My US made Carhartt Artic Traditional Coat is a XXLT as my chest measures 50" over undergarments. It's now 10 yrs old and I've washed it many times and it's still in good condition and very warm. I do recommend Carhartt work wear.

Absolutely pleased with these bibs. They fit my son like a glove, size measurements were exact. Heavy duty quality, with all the right pockets including b the zipper pocket on the bib.
The bibs keep him warm and protected as we worked on removing 6 feet of snow. The price was good also.
Also his girlfriend thought he look great in them.
    Highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars No Broken Straps Here - These Are REAL Carhartt Overalls
Reviewed in the United States on December 19, 2024
The reviews under the "most recent" heading that mention broken straps must be counterfeit Carhartt products. The Carhartt overalls I received yesterday went through a heavy-duty wash and hot dryer treatment before I ever put them on. These bibs are heavy, solid and strong. The straps are too. I couldn't tear or break one of these straps if I tried. These are heavy duty work bibs, not fashion bibs. Anybody with a brand new pair that has broken straps has a pair of knockoffs. Not the real deal. One of those photos of the broken straps shows a strap that's been obviously cut, not torn or broken. I'm sure if you contact Carhartt with a pair of brand new REAL Carhartt bibs that have broken straps, they'll replace them. They are a good company.

4.0 out of 5 stars Won’t buy again
Reviewed in the United States on December 4, 2024
Carhart’s name is synonymous with quality and durability and these were no different. HOWEVER that’s where my interest in a second purchase ends. The duck fabric was very thick and very nice but the pockets were in odd places and the two front pant pockets hopelessly shallow. Things can easily fall out. The fit was spot on in the waist but I suggest ordering slightly longer for the inseam. Mine shrank to an almost comical length and I haven’t worn them since the first wash. I would return them but since I already washed and wore I figured that idea was out. I really liked the elastic shoulder straps very much, BUT if there is only one reason I won’t buy these again is the clips to attach to the bib. They feel thin and cheap and are very frustrating to attach and release. Was very excited to try my first pair of Carharts and was left feeling slightly nonplussed. I’ll stick with my less expensive, better fit and finish, and more utilitarian “Dickies” for overalls. I do however love most all of the other things in the carhart family and will still be a loyal consumer for everything else.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly as expected from carhartt!!!

Have owned a few pair of these overalls and always go back for more. They fit great, are heavy duty and perform exactly as they should for work. They are heavier than your comparable denim overalls but the material is a much higher quality. After a few washes they are good as gold and comfortable as can be. The clasp on straps take some getting used too but do a great job once you figure them out. I love all the pockets and versatility of these carhartts and will always come back for more. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for overalls that’s are high quality and will stand the test of time!!! Good stuff!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great quality but are LONG!
Reviewed in the United States on October 19, 2024
These overalls are good quality, sturdy and fit well, but beware that they are not made for short guys! I had to sew the straps shorter and take off a good 4 inches or so from the legs. They have lots of pockets and the front pocket is huge. Should be great for landscaping work. I'm 5'6, 180lb and ordered a 36x30.
