    We only used the fake adhesive eyebrows and black bow tie for my son’s Halloween costume this year, but the rest of the props that come along with this set are great as well! The adhesives for the fake eyebrows and mustache stick well and stay in place. This is a good value product for your money and can be used several times for different costumes or dress up days.

    Our kids' elementary school has an event each year on the "100th Day of School," and students are supposed to do something that represents the number 100. Our first-grade son said he wanted to be a hundred years old. Boom -- this is the perfect costume setup for him! It's ridiculous and cute, and sure to be a hit. Probably only a one-time wearing, but we can recommend it for your little one who wants to look old before his time in a Tim Conway sort of fashion.

    This is such an adorable set! The pocket watch is sturdy enough to send to school, while the cane is hollow tubes that screw together - not so sturdy it can be deemed a weapon. I'm not sure school will allow the pipe, but the glasses, bow tie, hat, suspenders and stick on beard/mustache are chef's kiss! My kid can't wait for 100 days :)

    This multi piece costume set is a good value as long as you are interested in a few pieces of the set. It fits both kids and adults and most of the pieces are pretty good quality for a costume set (meaning that they look and feel nice, but they aren’t meant to be worn regularly). You could use all of the pieces together, or split them up to make multiple costumes since they have many application: Roaring 20s, detective, Harry Potter, steampunk, secret agent, doctor, professor, etc.

    While I wouldn’t mistake the hat for wool, it has a nice houndstooth pattern and newsboy shape. It is soft and stretchy, so it would fit a variety of heads and the cap could be used in lot of different costumes. Not meant for day to day wear, but it could go in a dress up box or be passed on. The suspenders are obviously for a costume, but they are also stretchy and you can open the metal clips by the loops to make them bigger or smaller, so again, very versatile. The bow tie is a satin like material and also adjustable.

    The “watch” is metal and looks and feels really nice. It definitely elevates the costume. I think I’m going to put it in an Alice in Wonderland display when we’re done with the costume! The glasses are also special, they are metal and glass and could be used for so many costume ideas over and over. The pipe looks really pretty, but seems smaller than I imagined. But I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a real tobacco pipe up close, so I could be wrong.

    The cane screws together and looks OK as long as you don’t look at it too hard! The plastic is cheap, but probably much safer for kids, since my first thought was that it would probably be used in a lightsaber fight or something anyway. The mustaches are exactly as pictured-grey fuzzy strips that stick on. We will not be using those, but it is nice that you get more than one in case you are going to multiple events.

    Overall, I was pleased with the quality, with the understanding that they were meant to be costume quality. A few of the pieces even seemed extra special! All opinions are my own, hopefully they were helpful!

    It can be used by an adult or children, I have a small head and the glasses fitted just well for me, depending on the combination I guess you can make up other characters like Sherlock Holmes.
    The eyebrows and mustache are really just a piece of felt with double side tape that you can only use once.
    I it is a children using it, I am sure this is a funny and perfectly adequate costume, for an adult, you may want to watch what environment you're using it to not sounds like you're making fun of older people or ageism, specially when it comes to using the cane.
    The hat may look a little too big for a children specially.
    The watch is an amazing addition because it actually looks really cool.

    Our 6 year old son absolutely loves this costume. The mustache and eyebrows didn't stick super well, but he didn't really care for them much anyway. The hat, pocket watch, and cane are his favorite items, and he will just randomly go put them on and pretend to need the cane to watch, which is just so silly. He makes everyone laugh, and its adorable. The cane comes in pieces that screw together, and its not very sturdy, but that just lets you even learn more how to pretend to use it. Definitely a set for kids, but its a good one.

    We're really happy with this costume set and already have plans to use parts of it for future displays, like an old timers theme. The glasses are a standout, perfect for other costumes. The pipe looks nice but is smaller than I expected, though that could be my inexperience with actual pipes. The cane is decent from afar but feels cheaply made though safer for kids. My son really enjoyed so no complaints here and highly recommend it.
