About Us
RockDove was originally born on a beach. A shoe repair shop that resoled hiking boots for locals in Santa Monica, CA, we began making slippers to comfort their trail-wearied feet. Twenty years later, we're still making footwear for après adventure. Inspired by the bright hues and laidback vibes of our SoCal beachtown, every pair is made to feel like vacation for your feet.

What makes our products unique?
Rooted in SoCal’s carefree spirit, RockDove slippers are easy to slip on, machine washable, and versatile for indoor/outdoor wear. Featuring a triple-layer insole for maximum comfort.
What are your slippers made of?
Synthetic uppers (unless stated otherwise) with either rubber or EVA soles. No animal parts are used.
Do your slippers fit true to size?
Every design is fit tested prior to production. Being homegrown, we know American sizing. With RockDove, you're not taking risk with foreign brands that just can't get our sizing right.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Winter Season Slippers - Foam Permanently Indented after 6 Minutes
Product Impressions: I buy once a year some cheap slippers to help keep my feet warm during the winter months as we have hardwood floors. I always try to buy something new to try out something new each year. This year I tried this brand. So I always wonder how long it does the foam to be permanently indented with my foot impression and for this brand: 6 minutes of continuous wear. Is this an issue for me? Nah these are temporary shoes and I admit- they are comfortable..for now. I would expect by December 2024 (less than two months) the foam will be flat and uncomfortable but will update this review if needed for that. The slipper foot cover is soft and plush which is nice and does hold in heat well for my feet. Bottoms are a but rough regarding "slipping" so I don't recommend walking on slippery slopes and or ice with these tbh.
Usability: Works for my cases as these are just cheap seasonal shoes. If you want longer lasting ones, I would look elsewhere.
Overall Thoughts: Great price, fits well, I will update if quality is bad after all.
Edit: Less than a month after daily use, these are as flat as a board cushion-wise. I don't mind it, but if you have achy/sore feet- do not recommend these.
Edit 2: these lasted me less than 2 months as I didn’t wear socks with them. Daily use around the house and keeping my foot warm = smells. Got to the point where I could smell them across the room and then they went into the trash. Another brand next year!

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable and warm without making feet hot!
They are well made and were tight at first, but after a few minutes the memory foam conformed to my feet. There is not a lot of arch support, but they are great for wearing around the house.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good buy for house shoes

5.0 out of 5 stars Warm, comfortable and durable

3.0 out of 5 stars After 4 years, wouldn't buy again. On hard floors they provide little cushion and make some noise.
After 4 years, they haven't fallen apart.
[Though they're not really going through heavy wear. While an almost daily wear in our short winters, I most go barefoot the rest of the year. So I'm not sure what the "mileage" would be on these.]
Good news:
They fit. And they keep your feet a little warmer. Not as warm as socks because the slippper have open heels, but I got them to provide a little cushion and a little warmth. They do both, to a degree...
Bad news:
They're not very cushiony - I can feel the hardwood floor under them.
[I don't know who thinks "memory foam" is a neat trick. It's a sales gimmick. What you want is cushioning, not a crushed "memory" of your foot. These slippers are too thin to create much cushioning. On hardwood and tile floors I can feel the floor through the slippers. Ok for a brief walk, not OK for standing around in the kitchen, for example. I don't have feet problems (yet) so it's not painful or anything - just not the support I could get from a pair of old tennis shoes. So why pay for a "luxury" item like slippers and then be reminded of the hard floor underneath? I'm going to seek thicker soles for my next purchase.]
Bad news: The soles are plastic and make a noise on hard floors.
[The bottoms are not a soft rubber like a tennis shoe, or fabric like fuzzy slippers. So, they make a noise when walking across hard surfaces (tile, wood, etc). Like a soft "tap tap tap" or something. Maybe about as loud as the patter of a large dog's claws walking through the house, if you're familiar with that sound. I notice it if I get up at night to do something. Somone sleeping in the same room would be awakened so I have to take them off or walk extra slow, like a thief, creeping through the house. I'm going to look for slippers with soft soles next time. I'm not wearing these outside so I don't need more durable plastic.]
