Simple and durable. Plenty of space for a weekend trip. Mine of 4 years just broke - the zipper got stuck in the zipper water flap and broke the actual teeth of the zipper. My fault, not the backpack's. I use mine every day to go to work and back for my lunch, water bottle, change of clothes, and whatever misc stuff in the front pocket. It is perfect for airplanes too - fits right under the seat and complies with size requirements. It easily rolls up for storage - no complicated thick padding, extra straps, weird pockets, stiffeners, its just a canvas bag. The straps themselves are a bit thin, but realistically if you are putting enough weight in this bag to cause that to be a problem you have the wrong backpack.
