In 1997, Kanu Surf set out to build and sell better board shorts for men, women, and children.

Founded right in the heart of the Garment District in New York City, they first sold door-to-door to local surfers, mom and pop surf shops, and a few gift stores at local beaches. A few good years of making waves, always focusing on quality and value, Kanu managed to land on the racks of department stores, sports shops and anywhere swimwear is sold— nationwide.

My little girl is 6 but tall. I got a size 8. Perfect fit. Soft and comfortable. No riding up or straps sliding off. I like the strap detail in the front and back. Would recommend. Held up good to washing too.

My daughter typically wears a size 6-7 and we got the size 8 swimsuit and fit perfectly. Beautiful color and nice material would purchase again.

Swimsuit is perfect with the exception of the sizing. This same suit in 2 different patterns ran small on both of my girls. Ended up having to pass them down to my younger kids because they were too small

My toddler is 3.5 and usually wears a 4T in everything. I bought a 4T and it's VERY snug and the bottom rides up which is uncomfortable for her. I recommend sizing up.

Colors are vibrant.
Cut is cute and modest.
Interlocking straps are a cute detail, but make it a little difficult for a 5 year old to manage.
Traditional swimsuit material fabric.
Great deal for the price.

Cannot comment on performance or durability- but - for the price I don’t think we can expect too much.

This suit is so cute, love the material, but sizing is way off. I ordered my average size 11 year old a size 14 based on other reviews and it is still too small. Sad because that’s the largest size. If there were a bigger size I would order it. So DO buy the suit, but unless you have a very small child for their age order a couple sizes up.
