its everything one could ask for in 1440p monitor. no screen tearing, not jittery, the brightness is amazing! I'm not sure why folks are saying this thing is not bright. But it's perfect I promise you on that .i have absolutory zero regrets getting this and for the price at the time i got this. a steal all the way around in my eyes. great for Xbox series X! no screen lag neither so that's a huge advantage to folks playing on their TVs. if i didn't sell this pen to you lol well miss out on something that is this amazing which is this monitor. worth every penny! it comes in a box with another box around it and wrapped about 5 times with bubble wrap all the way around it. set up was so simple. took me about a good 5 mins max once everything was out in front of me out of the box. for the back well that has everything you will need for your Xbox and pc!. reviewed date is 07/13/2024 price for the monitor last week was $200 even

5.0 out of 5 stars Everything I needed in a monitor

This monitor is great for me. While I admit a 4k screen would be better, for now this has exactly what I needed. It fits my desk perfectly and has a great picture. The 200mhz refresh rate also makes using my PC feel very smooth and responsive. I play Elite: Dangerous with this set up and it makes flying through space in-game feel much more immersive than my previous screen which was taller, but not as wide. I feel this was a good value and am pleased with my purchase. I would recommend this to anyone else who is shopping for a widescreen monitor but does not want to spend an exorbitant amount.

This is my very first monitor and it’s surprisingly good. I make music, commentaries and i game a lot, so I was in need of a monitor. It takes up a lot of space on my desk, my desk is about 5ft to 6 ft wide. I did a lot of research before I bought it (4 months before I bought it). I was very hesitant because of the price and not a lot videos on YouTube gone in depth about the monitor other than showing gameplay. I wasn’t expecting it to be so big let alone run this well either. Finding a gaming monitor at the moment is hard just because finding a well made monitor that plays and runs most games is somewhat rare. It took no more then 12 hours for it to come in after i purchased it (I have Amazon prime) and the box itself was actually pretty big. Setting everything up was easy and simple.

Using it for gaming:
There’s a bit of settings and you can play it at native 4k 60hz on the Xbox one x and there’s a major difference with some games like Cod MW (2019) Halo MCC & Halo 5, and any game that plays at 60fps. It may not be a noticeable difference with games that are locked to 30fps, but there is a major difference when playing games at 60. Some games looked better but ran somewhat worse compared to 1080p or 1440p. With the One X you can play some games in HDR and there’s a major difference with HDR and some games looked better with HDR. I’ve seen HDR on 4k tv’s and looked amazing, but being able to use it on a monitor like this was also really surprising. Again not all games on the One X have HDR, but the games that do have HDR ran somewhat better but frames did drop considerably when things picked up in combat. Cyberpunk 2077 while looked better on the One X, ran a lot worse at native 4k and with HDR on. Some parts of cyberpunk were steady and nice, as soon as combat picked up, the games frames would drop. So again it just depends on your settings and what games you play the monitor on.

Using it for my Music & commentaries:
For the last few weeks I’ve been making music & commentaries on this monitor and my workload had jumped up considerably. I can finally see everything and mix the way I need too. It’s a lot easier for me to see my mixes, I had to get a new keyboard, mouse, and desk mat just for this monitor. My work flow has improved and the monitor goes well with the lights around my studio. I’m getting a gaming computer soon to see how it truly runs, I have laptop at the moment so it runs well but I’m in need of upgrade for a new computer.

Final Thoughts:
Buy at your own cost. The settings are customizable and it looks good on my Xbox one X, I plan on getting a gaming computer to see how it truly runs. It’s worth the price and ships really fast (if you have Amazon prime). Picture quality is amazing, the brightness is adjustable and it’s really good for gaming. Worth the price!
If you have the money, get it, if you game a lot, get it, if you’re in need of good monitor, get it. You can’t go wrong with it. Even after a month, I haven’t had any problems with it. I’ve been using it everyday since I’ve bought it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing colors, great anti glare screen
Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2024
So let me start out I upgraded from a fairly high end 1080 monitor, and wanted to try out 1440p since my graphics card was able to handle it. I was hesitant to get another va screen cause mine did suffer from inverse ghosting and it was annoying. And ruined my imursive experiences sometimes. I wanted an ips but was willing to give this a try. Let me say the colors on this are absolutelyAMAZING On fantasy games, like wow, new world, and once human for example, really really amazing. And the hdr mode is excellent on more realistic graphics games like gray zone warfar, I notice zero inverse ghosting from dark color smears. The anti glare Matt finish works fantastically for eliminating the glare gaming during the day with the windows open. I sit close to my monitor the the clarity is impressive. Massive upgrade from 1080. The built in speakers sound very cheap and kinda higher pitch than they should. But once you use them for a bit they do tend to sound deeper once broken in. And the stand is absolutely dog crap. That’s the reason it won’t get 5 stars from me. Not having an adjustable height monitor for 200 bucks seems just ignorant. It’s my number one complaint. I’m 6 foot tall and this screen is way too short. Factor in another 30 bucks to get an adjustable base, unless you are like under 5,7. Which then puts this monitor about on par for one with a built in adjustable stand. Overall I’m happy the color and quality of the screen and crispness I can’t imagine being any better. You don’t need an ips monitor for daytime gaming this one is plenty bright. And fps games won’t blur or inverse ghost. Viewing angles are fairly wide. But still you need adjustment up and down to find the real sweet spot.
