5.0 out of 5 stars Best value!

So I bought this as my first PC since i am always on a budget, and i usually only play esports titles and use software that isnt demanding for low end pcs. Ive had it for just about a month now and this has been my experience so far: The specs on this PC fully matched the product description on Amazon. Core I7-6700 cpu and GTX-1050ti gpu, old hardware sure, but more than good enough to play esports titles, older triple A Games, and even some newer games on low settings. I am able to consistently get 120+fps in both Overwatch2 and Valorant on low settings with no stutters and very minimal frame drops. (Even with apps running in the background like Discord, Spotify, and OBS.) It can even run The Witcher 3 on high settings at 60+fps which i was very impressed by. When it comes to video rendering and digital art, I was able to use DaVinci Resolve and Krita very easily with very little buffering or visual stuttering, rendering HD videos and even 4k footage at a reasonable pace. However some more demanding effects and filters WILL cause the hardware to show its age, but thats to be expected. So far, even with one single exhaust fan and a tiny cpu cooler, Ive ran into no over heating at all, even when pushing the limits of the hardware. Which again, i was kinda surprised at. The peripherals that come with the PC however, are the only disappointment, but since you’re basically getting them for free, you cant really complain. M+K are both STG Aubron brand peripherals that are more than serviceable for anything that isn’t competitive fps games. However if you play esports games, you’re gonna wanna upgrade these asap lol. Overall, i am more than impressed with this PC and the refurbishing team at Amazon. I couldnt find better value for this price point anywhere else, and im glad i settled on this one. If you see one of these refurbished Optiplex-style PCs on Amazon with specs that match your needs, and you dont mind that it looks likes the PC your grandparents still use, I say go for it. Undeniably great Value.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good enough for HDOS
Reviewed in the United States on August 14, 2024
I’m not going to say it’s a bad build for the price, I use it for old school runescape using the HDOS. It did come with a zotac 1050 TI the ram is DDR3L as the others have said. For my needs (dual monitor) playing on one screen while using YouTube on the other it’s pretty decent for the price.
Note: the wifi is not great I tried it and decided to go with ethernet.

I wish this was easier. But it’s a pain in the ass. The keyboard stops working when it wants. Other glitchy things happen… I’m returning thiis. Sorry.

3.0 out of 5 stars Keyboard doesn't work
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2024
Got this for my seven year olds birthday but when he tried to us it for the first time the key kard was broken and came with a missing key. I was advised to return it for a refund but my son was so excited to use it I just took the loss and had to buy a new keyboard. I tried to return just the keyboard and get a new one but that wasn't an option so I guess I had to take the hit. Not happy.

It's good for the price, Works well with gaming, I will say it doesn't have built in wi fi had to take my wi fi adapter from old pc to get net, Also not windows 11 compatible like I wanted but other than those thing's its a good value for the money spent on it. Runs diablo 4 well haven't tried much else heh.

1.0 out of 5 stars It might be a decent computer, but
Reviewed in the United States on August 3, 2024
This computer was delivered on August 1. Today id the 3rd.
The wireless card is damaged, so it struggles to connect to the internet at all, so I haven’t been able to do much yet
The “RGB” is just some LED strips pushed into the casing preventing it from closing properly
And it appears to have come with malware pre installed, I’m doing a full offline scan now to see if Windows detects anything. And next payday I’m buying a 3rd party virus protection to check again
