Very nice monitor. No complaints there. Make sure you have the right cable to hook up to your computer. Check, and double check.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great vibrant colors for the price-and it DOES tilt!

Got a mini desktop PC and I was looking for a monitor. My daughter had just gotten a new gaming laptop and the picture on that was stunning! Like stunning. I looked up and found this monitor on a 'Best of' list so I decided to give it a try. Gorgeous images! Great colors (not as good as her laptop, but this was under $90-sometimes you just get what you pay for), and images that really popped.

I couldn't get it to tilt and checked reviews and questions where it said it didn't have any tilt. I actually bought another stand for it, and when I was trying to take the stand off that came with it...it tilted. Are you serious?? Yeah I would have NEVER applied the pressure necessary to get this thing to tilt just to see if it did. But I kind of put my thumbs on the back of the unit by the base and did it that way.

This is a great monitor with a gorgeous picture. I think I'd have to spend at least three times as much to actually have an upgraded picture.

5.0 out of 5 stars VESA compatible
Reviewed in the United States on July 21, 2023
Everyone keeps saying this monitor is NOT VESA compatible, but that's only partly true. It does not have a 4-hole pattern on the back. BUT, there are two holes parallel to the stand mount insert that fit the inner square of a VESA mount. And this is so light, it doesn't try to tip a multi arm stand.

I have it mounted on this (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08SLRF65R?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) right now, and while it's only 2 of 4 screws, I have no fear of tipping.

Does it exactly match up to a standard stand, no, but is it doable? Yes. ACER isn't THAT stupid (although they don't advertise it anywhere, so maybe they don't want you to know).

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy with this monitor
Reviewed in the United States on September 29, 2023
I use a laptop and for some programs the screen was a little too small for me, so I decided to get this monitor to hook up to my laptop. For a reasonable price, it was delivered the next day. It was simple to set up and plug in, although I did buy a separate HDMI cable to plug into my laptop to monitor. It did come with one I think (or was it vga?) but I bought a cheap box of separate HDMI cables from amazon just to be safe.

So basically, just snapped the stand into place, plugged in the HDMI cable and the power cord, and viola, I now have a good much bigger monitor. Also, the color and vibrancy of the screen is much better than my laptop screen. I was debating for a while whether to get a 24" or 27" monitor but did some research and you are supposed to sit farther away from a 27" monitor, and I don't have the space on my desk. Also 24" is pretty much standard for all gaming. So, I went with this 24" and it is a huge improvement over my small and not so vibrant laptop screen.

I have to say I still get a little eye strain with certain games and have to wear glasses, but I don't think this is any fault of the monitor. Overall, I am very happy with this new 24" monitor and would recommend it. Thanks for reading and good luck!

1.0 out of 5 stars No VESA mount holes, despite description stating it's compatible with VESA mouts
Reviewed in the United States on May 19, 2024
Got this specifically because it matches my other monitors fairly closely, and because the description claims the monitor has holes for a desk/wall mount (known as VESA mount).

I was surprised when there were no holes for a mount (there are two holes, but they're at an angle - standard mounts require 4 holes). Acer support just told me to read the manual (which it didn't come with, only a paper about interference from cheap cables, another on how to hook it up, and a warranty paper). Checking Reddit shows several threads about this same issue with the same monitor - basically, you need to buy a wall mount adapter (another $30 and another day). No thanks. I'll return this and grab a monitor from Micro Center.

I'm sure it'd be fine if you intended to use it using the included desk stand, but I need something that works with a standard wall mount without a separate adapter.
