    It's working great. The build is sturdy and includes everything needed to make the Ally a portable PC that's easy to carry around. I have a small backpack that fits everything, allowing me to bring a PC with me wherever I go.

    I've used many docks for the steam deck as I live connecting it to the TV a d playing retro games at work or with friends. This is the best dock I've used. It's metal has ethernet so you can download games way faster then wireless. Looks sleek with that metal finish. And best of all with other docks I've used you sometimes get artifacting because of quality yet this one I've yet to see it. Also as an upside you can connect a usbc powers phone to it and cast to the TV or monitor you are connecting to through hdmi. I've used this dock for both purposes and is a very handy tool that I throw in my bag because you never know when someone wants to play some retro games or wants to watch a movie on the big screen. Great dock all in all I highly recommend

    Everything about this dock is amazing, 3 USB 3.0 slots, up to 100w charging capability, I haven't tried the HDMI or Ethernet yet. The only down side is the link cable for the Steam Deck/ROG, it's too stiff and not flexible enough, I would prefer it braided but to each their own I guess. But it is a concern to me because it's the weakest point that could break or get cut off. Other than that it's amazing and works flawlessly, and quite durable with it's metal frame, it feels high quality for it's affordable price!

Therefore, I don't deduct any points from my rating for this particular compatibility hiccup.

    In addition to gaming devices, I also utilize this docking station for my work laptop. The convenience of consolidating multiple cables into a single USB-C connection has been a game-changer. Previously, I had to manage five separate cables, but now, with this docking station, I enjoy a clean and clutter-free workspace.     I ordered this dock when I got my Ally. I had seen positive reviews for it, but I must advise you to stay far away. I decided to test it out a few months after purchasing because I was preparing to travel and would take it with me. At first it connected without issue. I used it normally over the next few days in my office until this morning I noticed an electrical burning smell. I found it was coming from the dock. I went to remove the USB-C cable from the top of my ROG Ally and the cable connector was so hot it burned my thumb and index finger.

    Nothing had changed from when I first began to use the dock this week and the Ally was idle on silent mode when this began. I went to look at the possibility of returning the item, but you only have 15 days to do so. You also need the original packaging it came in to do the return as well.

    If you buy this dock make sure you test it right away because there is an incredibly short window in which it is available for return.

    This happened with no peripherals connected at all. Just the suggested 100w charger. Be extremely careful when using this device. Had I not been present or noticed the smell of the burning who knows what could have happened.

    Product worked well enough at first. Occasional disconnects while playing but they were infrequent enough and I was happy enough to ignore it as what I get for not purchasing the Steam version. Well, as the month went on, the disconnects got more frustrating and by the writing of this review the product has stopped working completely. The LAN indicator won't even light up. I've seen similar reviews of this item saying the same thing. Tried other wires, tried the original wire, tried the firmware update. I could only get it to connect to my PC by forcing the USB C in and slightly up and to the right. Still nothing. It's a faulty usb C power slot. Save your money and get the Steam version even if it's overpriced. This product is impossible to get support for too. Good luck if you get it.
