    If you have issues where the LAN port will not connect to your Switch, try a different brand. It did not like my old Cisco Switches but connects on my TrendNet switch. I won't mention the troubleshooting I went through. Wifi, USB, HDMI all work well. I'm using this to run my WiresX node using the HRI-200 interface. Works well, decent speed, quick startup, I think this can handle a lot more than I'm throwing at it right now. The fan makes very little noise. It gets slightly warm but never hot so far. I liked it so much I bought a second one.

    I got this to use as a stand-in for PC's in my business which go down. However, they work so well (and tested so well) that I decided to replace my big PC's with this unit.

    PROS
    FAST - Like, I can't believe it fast. There are some small delays in big big activities, but the benchmarks are amazing.

    PROS
    Size, obviously. These things are small, take no space and won't break a sweat if you're hauling them up six flights of stairs. Size doesn't hurt the speed or cooling abilities. Unit never got warm testing in my office under load.

    CONS
    I wish it was USB powered is probably the biggest one. Most of our laptops are now USB-C powered, and I would love it if this followed suit. I am not fond of proprietary power units you must special order if they go out. I'd much rather be able to port a USB-C cable over to the unit.

    OVERALL
    Great machine, I wouldn't try to game off of it, but it has handled excel files, everything browser, watches movies just fine - looks to really be a well put together unit. I will report back after the Missouri summer gets here.

    My wife's old Dell Win7 computer had not crashed but had outlived its usefulness because browsers could no longer be updated and would no longer work on secure websites. She doesn't work with hers or do much more than browse and pay some bills, so it's not like we needed a gaming computer or anything more than the basic one that will hopefully be reliable and have as long a useful life as her Dell. We are off to a good start.

    The setup was extremely easy, I was super impressed with the small footprint, and I've not had any difficulties whatsoever. Most of all, her wifi speed went from 20mbps on the old one to about 300 with this one and startup time went from 3-4 minutes to 15 seconds. Happy wife, happy ME!

    Keep in mind that you aren't going to do any competitive gaming or edit 4K video unless you've got excess free time. It will do the latter, but it will be so very not zippy. But I didn't want that, didn't pay for that and I LOVE the price of this thing.

    I honestly wouldn't have bought this thing for myself because I periodically have larger files I have to deal with, but I very well may buy one as my backup and daily use computer, though I will likely upgrade to the one with more RAM. Other than having to cart around a screen and keyboard, I'd rather carry this to hotels than I would a standard laptop. It's about the size of a large watch box, just about as light, and the energy used on this thing is crazy small.

    Also worth noting, this isn't the kind of computer that you will ever repair or add any capacity. It is what it is and when it breaks, chances are it will go the way of every other piece of trash.

    One note on setup for those who aren't very tech savvy, the energy settings that this thing comes with will likely have to be adjusted. One combined trip to the coffee pot and bathroom will mean this thing shuts down. However, I quickly adjusted these to a 2-hour threshold and she no longer has a problem.

    I'm not one of those people who says they will update later and then doesn't. I often update reviews based on further experience, assuming things have changed, and whether I'm okay with that change or not. If has a reasonable life and then dies, I still think it's important for people to know what that lifespan looks like. So if you see nothing more from me than this review with no update tags, it remains the same.
