    I can handle basic IT projects, but not extremely IT minded. This product was easy to connect. I bought this product to separate my signals (2.4 and 5) because I couldn't connect most security camera or even get Alexa to turn on the lamp. I used the instructions that came with the product and was able to connect in minutes. Now all my devices are working great.

    Had this wifi router up and running in less than five minutes. Strong signal that can be picked up from one end of my house to the other. I can even get the signal on my laptop while outside on the opposite side of the house from where the router is located. There may be stronger and faster systems available but for the price, this router is tough to beat.

    This is the third wavlink. i got, I got all three in different time period.
    The first one, working great - i can set password for 2.4hz and 5.4 hz differently, I used it as AP
    The second one, working great, but I have to use complicated passwords. That caused lots of trouble, because I had lots of alexa devices already set the simple password, so I rely on the first one. I used this as AP
    This third one, same thing, one password for both 2.4 and 5.4 and the password has to be the complicated one. So, again I have to rely on the first wavlink if i don't want to change passwords. It will be hassle for me to change each one of them (light bulbs, smart switch, etc) As you know, all alexa devices need to be on 2.4hz to have it set up.

    I got this one and want to try to Wisp. I tested it out which is great, and it generates another IP addresses for the devices. Instead of 192.168.1.xxx, it gives 192.168.10.xxx which is okay if no devices are interacting each others. On the menu, it also does give out the client lists on the third one. That way, I know what machines are connecting to my Wavlink.

    If only I can separate the 2.4hz password, then I would give it 5 stars. For now, the range is good, before I was in the corner room, and can't get any good signal. After I put this one in the corner room, it does connect and the speed is pretty decent.

    How durable is this one? I don't know yet. All I know the first two wavlink i used it for AP mode, it flashes red all the time, while I used this one as Wisp mode, it gives solid blue. I had no idea why the ap mode shows flashing red and on the console, it shows x lan/bridge connection but it is working great.

    Anyway, for this one so far so good, easy set up. WISP is as good as repeater. ( by the way, there is little misleading in mode. There is no repeater mode at all!) You may end up using Wisp mode

    Our tech support guy hooked this router up, and using the quick start guide we were up and running in your church i half an hour. We use it for video streaming in the fellowship hall and wifi in the sanctuary. We had excellent strong wifi signals on both floors - what a value for the price.

    The package includes all you need to be up and running in no time. easy to follow guide to set up secure wifi requiring a password. I got the blue colored router and its real nice. I can't believe the coverage and the speed of my internet now!

    This is being used as a wifi extender , it keeps the streaming from the continuous requiring of signal which was happening often when the modem /router was getting to the point of replacement. What did surprised me one morning I was waiting for the bus and the signal was still strong , the bus stop is about two houses away and across the street. I know that units have a strong signal when operating but it was still a surprise.
