5.0 out of 5 stars So far … amazing - updated
Reviewed in the United States on November 1, 2024
Don’t hesitate to buy this. Price is insanely good and it’s super compact. Extremely easy to hook up to a monitor. The fan is super quiet. Runs games really good and comes with a ton of storage for games for the price point. Graphics could be better but for the most part very good. Runs smoothly, does get a little heated but that’s normal for a pc. Architecture student and runs all the programs effortlessly. Great buy! For all I know it’ll stop working in a week though so will update if anything does wrong.

    UPDATE:

After having this for a while and using it everyday, it does seem to crash applications almost everyday. When I have it in performance mode and playing video games, it gets a little laggy. In performance mode, the fan gets really loud, which I personally don’t mind. If I could I would probably swap it out for a real pc given it doesn’t handle demanding tasks all too well. If you are looking to use it pretty lightly, I’d definitely recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected! Great value!

So to start with it came packaged very nice. The packaging was very professional, well
Protected, and gave the feeling of quality from the start.
The package included a vesa bracket and custom branded HDMI cable, as well as a nice quality power supply with a good long cord.
The case is plastic. I suppose at this price point of course it is. But the plastic feels like it’s nice high quality. I’m happy with the look and feel of it. The green power button to match the accent color on the PC is a nice touch, and the power button had a nice feel to it, wasn’t too mushy like it would break easily.
Windows was clean of virus’, activated correctly, and had ZERO bloatware. From box to using the desktop was maybe 5 minutes, easy setup. Zero frills, just as Windows should be from the factory.
I’m just getting started using it I’ll come back and report on its performance.
Performance was really good ! The system stayed cool and didn’t throttle. Started up quickly and all in all is a great little system. Going to use it to build a retro gaming box.

5.0 out of 5 stars Flexible, powerful, and affordable

If you've spent any time looking at these mini PC's, you'll know that you can get a ton of functionality for a very reasonable price. In this case, I got the model with 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and a 2TB SSD for $450 on sale. While there are cheaper models available that can do much of what this does, I think you would be hard pressed to find something that matches the price to performance ratio for a Windows PC.

Beyond the price and specs, there's a few reasons I ended up buying this model. The first thing is the I/O (input/output). I love that I can output video from HDMI, DisplayPort and USB4. There's one of each port on the back as well as a USB4 port on the front. You can actually set this up with 4 monitors at once if you want. While I'm just using a single monitor over DisplayPort, I love the flexibility to connect it to any modern TV or monitor without needing adapters. The two USB 3.0 (type A) ports on front are great for controllers, external drives, memory card readers, etc. And finally, there's an Oculink port for connecting an external graphics card. Again, not something I plan using as I mainly game on console, but the option is there if I want to play modern AAA games at high settings.

Speaking of gaming, this PC can absolutely play games, but you need to keep your expectations in check. Integrated graphics have come a long way in recent years, but you won't be playing Cyberpunk in 4K. What you can play is older games from the PS4/Xbox One era and prior at high to max settings (depending on the title) and current games like God of War Ragnarok and Cyberpunk at low settings. I was surprised at how many games I could get running at 1440p with framerates at 60 FPS and above. It certainly has limitations, but if you're ok with less demanding games and lower settings on modern games, it will deliver. And, as I mentioned before, you can add external GPU if you want more performance.

In terms of expandability, you can put up to 96 GB of RAM for some reason (the 32 GB on board should be more than enough for almost everyone). You can also add a second M.2 NVME SSD. The 2 TB drive that came with this model is good, but I can see myself adding a second 2 TB SSD to top it out. I looked at quite a few other mini PC's and this isn't a standard feature, so I'm happy to have it.

As far as complaints, I don't like that the type A ports on the rear are USB 2.0 speed. I get that they're for keyboards and mice, but it would be nice to have USB 3.0 ports as they could be used for more modern devices in case I had a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard. The headphone jack on the front is nice for headsets, but there's no dedicated audio jack on the back. If your monitor doesn't have any audio ports or on-board speakers, you'll lose that functionality and always have a cable running from the front. What's even more baffling is that there's 2 ethernet ports on the rear. It seems more gimmicky than anything. This is pretty common to see on these mini PC's, so maybe there's something I don't get, but I imagine most people would rather have the dedicated audio port on the rear, than 2 ethernet ports.

Despite these minor gripes, this is still a 5 star PC. It runs quietly and quickly, is incredibly powerful for the size and price, and the flexibility is truly impressive. Recommended.

5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to set up

Easy to set up. Was able to hook up printer, speakers, headphones, monitors flawlessly. Love, Window 11 Pro. Computer boots up almost immediately. Seems to have almost no lag time. I really don't have any issues with the computer. I'm 73 years old and it was pretty simple for me. I use the computer for home computing and study and learning and streaming. I use two monitors. Is functioning very well at this point. I've had as many as 25 screens open at the same time. Great time saver with no lag time

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent Mini Computer - Experience Required
Reviewed in the United States on March 5, 2024
Enjoying it so far, it's advertised as 32gb video memory (I understand this is not logical as the unit comes complete with 32gb ram total), however, upon arrival the mini pc is set at 3gb video igpu. A quick visit to the bios allowed me to max the gpu ram to 8gb, pretty far from the advertised 32gb (:P). The box runs decently on most major pc titles with a few tweaks needed in the amd adrenaline software.

I do wish this box could allocate 16gb of the 32gb to the 780m, could that be a possible future bios update?

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly powerful, tiny powerhouse PC
Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2024
I bought as a second PC for my downstairs "office" specifically for the integrated 780M GPU, because I have two 4k monitors and do some light video editing in addition to work (coding, multiple browsers, office/teams/etc.). Absolutely no slowdown or lag.

Comes with barebones Windows 11, no bloatware which is awesome.

Fan noise is almost nonexistent likely do to the generous 32GB RAM. I have a $2k+ MSI Stealth w/RTX 4070 gaming laptop as my main PC upstairs and I swear this performs better.

Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with this especially at the price, you will not be disappointed.
