5.0 out of 5 stars Great gadget - good price, etc. One small suggestion - use the HDMI cable that comes with it.
Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2024
I just bought this and it is a great value and high quality. I had a minor glitch with it and I just wanted to put that somewhere so if someone else runs into it they can easily fix it.
I think the physical design of this is pretty amazing. The parts snap together like magic.
The electronics, quality of display, etc., are perfect.

BUT I was sometimes getting a black screen for a few seconds. I thought it was dying slowly or something.

The problem I had was that I used an existing HDMI cable that was already plugged into my PC. It is probably 10 years old - and have NO idea what standard it was manufactured for. It is MUCH thinner than the one that came with the monitor. I figured it would make NO difference. And I did not have to mess around back here with all the wires and stuff. WRONG.

USE the HDMI cable that comes with the monitor.

HDMI is not just electrical, like voltage signaling. It is modulated signal with a great deal of information in it. The PC and the monitor exchange information over that thing. AND in my case, it sometimes got confused - and the monitor went totally BLACK for a few seconds. That or it would report No Signal on the HDMI cable.

I replaced my skinny little, old cable - and it works perfectly - never a black screen, etc.
Just in case someone else runs into this - you could search on "black screen" and get the fix. There is nothing on the vendor webaite about the type or version of HDMI cable required.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional features and great price point… need standoff screws for vesa mount
Reviewed in the United States on October 15, 2024
I've been looking at purchasing a 34" curved monitor for a few months now and have been comparing different brands across the market and looking for a good price point. This monitor ticked all the boxes - it had better resolution, refresh rate, response time, color range compared to many other curved screens. It is a beautiful screen with vibrant colors and I have been able to read small without eye strain. I find myself sitting back in my seat instead of leaning forwards since everything is much clearer than the 24" 1920x1080p monitor I replaced.

It came well packaged and it was easy to set up.

The monitor stand is easy to install into the back of the display - it clicks into place and there is no need to fiddle with screws or nuts and bolts.

If you prefer to vesa mount - please be aware that the monitor has screw points for a vesa mount, but they are in a small circular recess that is intended for the monitor stand. You will need standoff screws or spacers in order to raise the screw points for a vesa plate.

I am currently using the monitor with the stand, but will update when I swap to a vesa mount.

Update: I have swapped to vesa mount and attached photos of my setup. The standoffs I used were 8mm-tall M4-sized screws.

4.0 out of 5 stars The product is as advertised but.... Mainstream
Reviewed in the United States on December 6, 2024
At first I absolutely hated this monitor. The monitor felt blurry and colors were whack when I looked at different angles. Once I enabled AMD freesync and played with the brightness/sharpness it started to feel better. I moved the monitor back by 6 inches and it actually started to look good. Had to play with the sharpness and get things looking like what I want. I can't give this monitor 4-5 stars because of the initial bad feeling. I will update this once I get more hours under my belt. Yet after 10 hours I can slightly recommend this monitor. I bought this due to the black friday / cyber monday, mostly to see if a $200 monitor with 2k 240hz with 1ms response time was worth it. I think they are kinda bluffing on the monitor due to the fact that my current monitor was an Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz 27" WQHD (2560x1440) NVIDIA G-SYNC IPS Monitor, (Display Port & HDMI Port, 144Hz), Black. Yes, different because of G-SYNC and 165hz to 240hz, but I got this one because I upgraded to AMD. Maybe i just have to adjust to this monitor but coming from the exact specs besides actually using AMD freesync and 240hz. This monitor is alright. I have seen reviews saying it has a bunch of screen tears, from my pov i haven't seen any. I mostly play CS2, Apex, Dota 2, COD zombies, and a few other smaller games like Terraria and Stardew Valley. I still feel like the edges of the monitor seem slightly too dark to my liking but that's why I cranked the brightness to 100 to actually see the screen. If you want the RGB on the back to lighten up your wall then forget about it. It's like a dying flashlight you had in your drawer for the past 4 years. The lighting actually works, it's just not bright. I hang my hand over the back of the monitor to have its lights shine at me. Picture your mouse if you have RGB in it, or just a dim colored light shining at the wall. YOU WON'T SEE IT. Overall the monitor is performing as advertised but I had to play around with the settings and I still don't know if i like it or not. It performed well in the 240hz test I ran on it. My biggest concern currently is the dark edges, almost like polarized edges. Again this is my take on this monitor coming from someone that typically bought mainstream, if you are coming from a 60-120hz or 720p-1080p monitor this will be an insane upgrade. Can't recommend it but cant say its trash either. I'm giving it about 7-14 days to wow me before I return it. I will for sure update this if i do.

    Update 12 days later.
I'm actually enjoying this monitor. I got used to it and found that it is actually really good. Big thing i had to do was adjust monitor setting and GPU settings to my liking. AT MOST! ill give it 4 stars. Its a great monitor but I did not like it at first. It still had minor screen tearing but not the game, it was my crosshairs weird enough. I only noticed the screen tare in cs while i was in a smoke. So overall I am happy with the monitor but I still have the feeling that spending another 100-200 bucks is better. Like i said in my previous post above. I really bought it to check if it was any good for the performance advertised. So far so good

Used for my desk computer. Very good screen, easy set up. Only improvement might be a tilting screen for desk height, etc.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Monitor!
Reviewed in the United States on December 15, 2024
Been running this monitor for about 6 months now. Have to tell you, unless you're spending OLED money on a monitor, there's no reason to spend more than this. No dead pixels, no ghosting that I've noticed, panel looks great. Took some tweaking out of the box to get the colors to look right, but 0 complaints after I got that in. I usually cap FPS at 120 in my games. My 5600X/3060ti combo runs 1440P UW fine, but can't always hit those numbers anyway, so the refresh rate has been more than enough (does stay pretty smoothly capped at 120 FPS is the new Delta Force game).
