    This 140w charger from Anker is another quality product! The silver color is different to many other chargers I previously owned. I’m a little worried about the finish being easy to scratch or mark-up, but time will tell. Also, the glossy plastic panels are prone to scratching too. Oh well, not a big deal, but worth noting. So I just saw the CES 2025 announcement of this product, so I was very excited to use this.
    The LCD screen is the notable feature here and appears a little gimmicky to me at first, but in actual use, I really like it and find it super useful. The charger is powerful. Charges my 16” MacBook Pro with ease and speed. The screen provides useful information on charging wattage, distribution of the power if charging more than one device, and I particularly love the temperature monitoring which gives me a lot of peace of mind!
    However, in terms of the charger design, I think it has room for improvement. First of all, I don’t like how my usb connection ports are all facing down, so trying to connect my usb plugs can get fussy and slightly frustrated since I’m going in blind most of the time on a standard US wall outlet. So what I did, was turning the charger upside down, so the usb connections are now facing up. Helps a ton, but the only dinger now, is the LCD is now upside down too. I wish Anker programmed the touch button on the front to allow flipping of the LCD screen 180. Maybe touch and hold for 2-3 seconds or something, so it won’t interfere with the simple mode change or accidental screen flip.
    Anyway, apart from that, the charger is great. The unit is a little wider in dimensions, so it’s nice that it feels more stable when plugged in. So the charger is quite compact too, considering it is a powerful 140w charger. Having that said, the smallish form-factor does make the weight of the charger a tad hefty, but not a dealbreaker for me.
    Overall, a great charger, especially get it with the discount coupon! So far, it is working well. With 3 devices, the charger does get a little warm, but not nearly hot at all. With the temperature monitoring, I’m not concerned at all. This is a quality product. Feels solid and durable, even though it’s housed in a plastic shell. I like using this so much, it is now my sole travel go-to charger. If not for the underside blind usb ports, this would have been a 5-star product for sure. So close!

    I love everything about this charger. Tons of ports, tons of power, doesn't get hot, the display tells you exactly how much power each device is getting and shows how well it handles power management, multiple devices fast charge at once, and I LOVE that they finally put the plugs on the side/bottom so that I don't have cords protruding out into the room from the outlet. It also aids in a very secure attachment to the outlet. No sagging. Excellent in every way and looks sleek doing it!
