    Purchased this cpu for a dedicated emulation couch pc I built. Turned SMT off so it's just the raw 8 core part. 5800x, 6700XT, 16 gig ddr4 3200, Gigabyte B550I AORUS PRO Mini-Itx. Runs everything perfectly. Well over a smooth 60 fps in GOW3 in RCPS3. I might be in the minority but I like emulating as close to the original console experience as I can so nothing is upscaled to 4k or anything like that. So maybe it's a different story upping the internal resolution of whatever console you're emulating but at original console settings everything is great.

    Its not worth whatever it retailed for but its worth $150. I upgraded from a ryzen 2600 and the 5800xt has at least doubled my frames in most games with higher quality settings. Didn't wanna shell out another 100 for a x3d or take my chances on ali. Speedy lil cpu.

    Do not get this cpu as it’s a re-release of the Ryzen 7 5800x with a slight overclock… the cpu is great works fine but there’s no point in buying this at $270 when the same cpu without the .1ghz overclock is $176… there was no point to release this for amd other than to hopefully trick people.
