A very good product. I am using it to copy B&W negatives using a mounted Canon rebel about 7 inches above negs. I am keeping negs 1 inch above lite unit so any minor fuzz, specs, will blur out. I wish the neg copiers for sale had that space, would make work a lot cleaner. I can use ISO 400 at f7.1 w shutter speeds ranging from 1/10th to 1/500th. I use f-stop preferred mode. My standard lens does the job for closeup factor. I made my own neg holder, but I am sure most 120 holders should work probably better, just add some 1" spacers below. I use an adobe product to invert negatives, but prefer Apple to do cropping, straightening, etc. as I work faster on it.
The light box has a smooth consistant light spread and can be used perfectly for tracing or even lighting up subjects to be photographed. It has a centered spot quite small but I only use a portion of lite box so no problem.

I am working on culling thousands of slides and this works great. Although the images are small you can view many slides at a time.
Real woman. This light box came quickly and seems adequate. I have to set time aside to go through the many negatives. I hope to find what I am looking for.rice

I would like a longer energy wire connection so it works better for my small multi functional space with only two outlets. Otherwise, a good buy.

I bought this light pad because it is much less expensive than a device designed specifically for sorting 35mm slides. And it can do one thing that a purpose-designed device can not do - it works with ANY SIZE slide or negative. My father shot some 6x6 slides and used other size negatives including 616, 828 and 4x5 large format film. This light pad works well with any of those. I have a slide scanner and a flatbed scanner with adapters for the non-35mm sizes. My only complaint is a minor one - I found the power/dimmer switch to be a bit touchy - it is easy to unintentionally change the brightness or power it off. Getting used to that will come with time.

For anyone that needs more than the 2 magnets that come with the light pad, the LOVIMAG item Silver-12P ASIN B0BRXLP61M 12 pack of "push pin" magnets are working well for me. I am also using a longer braided USB cable instead of the short cable supplied with the light pad.

And I will add that I had some questions about an AC adapter for use with it and the manufacturer/seller was very helpful. This light pad will not work with USB cables that have the resistor or chip that are designed for Power Delivery, Qualcomm Quick Charge or other high wattage rapid chargers. I am using it with an old charger that I think came with a Droid 2 phone, amd it also works with a power bank for kinda-sorta portable use.

I used this light-tablet to copy some slides. I used my android phone with a goose-neck arm to hold it in place. I taped a couple of credit-card size pieces of plastic to form an alignment corner, and was able to easily 'convert' slide after slide into digital. I doubt the results are as good as some higher-resolution options, but they look good on my 8x10 tablet.

I used it 4 times and it stopped working. It sat untouched for almost 6 months while I got my darkroom and everything set up. Pulled it out about 3 weeks ago and used it 4 times and now it will not power on. I have tried multiple cords and nothing. Not worth the money.

Solid, simple design with a single button that controls power and brightness. The ruler along the edges are a thoughtful feature. The low power setting is bright enough for most of my needs.
