5.0 out of 5 stars quality qhd!

i think i'm one of the lucky ones... no dead pixels upon arrival! this monitor looks amazing, and it's BIG. take my review with a grain of salt, though; i'm coming from a 2019 hp omen laptop. i think anything is an improvement over that lol.

the colors are SO CLEAN and saturated, there is very little "glow" when displaying mostly black screens. it's heavy and it all feels super quality. i think my biggest gripe is there is a cable clip on the back, that i didn't REALIZE was a cable clip, and now i can't get it off, therefore no cables are clipped. bizarre.

also, this is a nitpick because you can SEE photos in other reviews, but the product description claims this is glossy finish. it is most definitely matte, LOL. obviously. because it's not OLED. anyway, still really really nice!!!

edit: after 2 months i did get a dead pixel. it's literally completely undetectable while watching movies or playing games, but when i use art programs i can see it... anyway. it's really tiny, i don't think it's that big of a deal unless more start randomly popping up. i'll update again if more appear.

Running this at the full 240hz and it has a great picture. Response time seems solid. Stand is nice, easily adjustable and a small footprint. OSD is easy to adjust and navigate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Color and Quality at its finest

I recently upgraded from a 27" 1080p 240hz monitor and this LG monitor is an insanely great difference not only in picture quality and color, also in the build quality! I've been looking at this monitor for a while. Wasnt going to drop $500 on this thing but got it at a very good deal. I see some people's reviews are not so great on it but let me tell you. At $349 it's a steal!

1.0 out of 5 stars Brand new, came with dead pixels right out of the box
Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2024
Monitor looked nice when I set it up. Turned it on and I see 2-3 dead pixels. Brand new and it came defective with dead pixels. Very disappointed because I got this when it was on sale for $350. Had to return it and Amazon couldn't replace it with another one. Return process took extra long and I did not get my refund until 3 weeks later. By then, the price of this monitor went back up to $500.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor have had since nov
Reviewed in the United States on July 11, 2024
Bought this monitor in early Nov. Did a lot of research and came to the conclusion that this had the best performance to dollar (bought for 350$). At first I wasn't sold that 240hz was that amazing coming from 165hz. But after awhile I realized that it is a decent upgrade. Great response times. Also the gsync actually seems to work really well, my old monitor would get all ghosting when the frame rate would get below 90fps or so so I'd have to leave it off which felt dumb. With this monitor I haven't seen anything like that and even at lower fps it still feels pretty good. No dead pixels on mine as well which was nice.

I whole heatedly recommend this monitor especially if it's around the 350$ price point. 1440p 240hz is the current "sweet" spot I believe.

I like the framerate and black levels, but the software for adjusting color balance is pretty pathetic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Gaming Monitor

I recently upgraded from the LG 27 inch 1440p/144Hz monitor and this monitor is on another level. I prefer 27 inch monitors over 24 inch monitors and this monitor has it all: 1440p/240Hz, amazing picture quality, vibrant colors, no dead pixels, DP 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, etc

I mainly do PC gaming but also use my PS5 on this monitor. For AAA games/Esports games that I play it’s easy for me to reach 240fps easily on this monitor. PS5 looks great on this monitor as well. If the game supports 120fps then the monitor will output 1440p/120Hz and it looks great and smooth.

I really like LG monitors and this was a great upgrade from my last LG 27 inch monitor that was 1440p/144Hz. The colors look great straight out of the box, there are cables included, and it’s been perfect for me. If you can get this monitor for around $350 I'd say it's a great deal.
