If you’re like me you’re a skeptic. I saw this on TikTok. And well they said it was less but the price went just as high with shipping.
Now i also thought no way. It’s fake, it doesn’t work. But it really does. And it was as simple as taking it out the box, using the cable i needed , c to c and following the instructions on extending your screen. And BAM you got an extra screen.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Portable Monitor for Primary or Extended Use

This portable monitor is excellent. I've been using it for the last few days without any issues, and I particularly appreciate that there's no screen flickering. Currently, I'm using it as a primary monitor with my mini PC for testing, but I might switch to using it as an extended monitor with my laptop. The brightness and contrast are very good. I think anyone can enjoy this portable monitor, whether as a primary or extended display, without any dissatisfaction. Yes, I recommend it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good portable monitor for business or on the go gaming; low contrast ratio

There's a lot to like about this portable monitor as a portable monitor. The best thing is the ability to use a single USBC cable to a computer/tablet/etc that supports video out! There's no need for an external supply or additional setup as it just works.
While subjective, I'd find this as a good fit for people on the go that need a larger screen and want to be free of complex cabling at the cost of some picture clarity in favor for all around usage. It could be used as a WFH monitor for coding/reading but use own speakers.
The included folio cover is a great inclusion to keep the screen safe while providing a portable stand.

For the details:

Screen wise this monitor can get bright and useful in brighter areas. I find 50% brightness to match just about every other screen I have in a moderate lit area. The contrast I do find a little lacking and has adjustments but doesn't seem to make too much difference. It's possible that the contrast is related to the black depth being too shallow compared to my tablet.

At full black with brightness cranked all the way up there is light bleed. This will impact any serious movie/game watcher by not getting a full black screen. For the most part, this is not a significant problem however could have been better.

*Watching a movie is possible but there's going to be a difference and is fully subjective. In my opinion the depth could be more and there is an HDR that matches closer but also blows out some other colors
*As a monitor for business use it's perfect. The text is very readable (my camera does not do it justice for image uploaded) and the screen is a great extension of my work laptop.
*Playing a game this monitor does support 60hz so a reasonably smooth play is capable. Given the portability purpose of this I'd expect this to tailor to the more casual gamer with a switch/tablet/etc. For this it'd be a nice screen size increase. Given the black depth mentioned earlier it could enhance some games to be more visible, again a subjective perspective.

The controls are easy to use and quick "hot keys" for brightness and volume are appreciated.

Speakers on this are a bit sad, I would only consider these as a last resort speaker. It does have a headphone output. The speakers seem tuned more for voice range and have some difficulty with amplification.

The folding cover can also act as a stand in a pinch. It does take up a good amount of space but is useable.

There's some mounting positions on the back of the screen that are unmentioned in the docs. They spacing of the screws are at 75mm which could work great as a custom mount for a raspberrypi. This seems like an interesting project though without touch-screen it'd still require a KM.

I've connected this to my Lenovo P12 pro, 2 different laptops (one with Iris Xe and one 1660) and all work just fine via USBC video. I've also used the HDMI cable included without issues. I have not tested USB passthrough completely but at one point connecting power to monitor also supplied power to tablet at a low rate. The monitor seems to use external supply when possible

Note: You can not use the monitor as a USB pass-through, it's a pure video signal and not a USB transfer device.
It includes all the cables needed to support regular HDMI, USBC video, and power as needed

Overall power wise, this looks like it consumes on average 4.5W with a mostly white screen. On full standby it uses .173W. Keep this in mind when using USBC as the only source as it will train the battery that much quicker. In most cases this could be seen as something significant. I used a small portable battery which seems to work well and stuck at 5V but is capable of providing 20W/higher voltage.

One problem found is that when connected to my P12 and the tablet goes to sleep somehow the screen keeps turning on/off. This will drain the battery quickly if not careful and no external supply is used.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very good picture very clear
Reviewed in the United States on March 4, 2024
The quality of the screen resolution exceeded my expectations. I tested the screen with video and it performed very well. My typical video needs are limited to watching an occasional Netflix movie, and the FLYZUNI portable monitor is more than adequate. The advertised aspect ratio of 1080p is as good as most TVs and standard monitors, but the portability is amazing. I'm sure the 60Hz refresh rate is sufficient for all but the most demanding video games.

The travel cover is rigid and protects the screen from typical impacts, and it can also be used as a monitor stand. From a stand/support standpoint, it worked fine. It's never fallen over, but will if hit. The case/stand is similar to an old iPad case. Effective and compact with acceptable stability tradeoffs.
Overall, I have no complaints about the FLYZUNI portable monitor and highly recommend it to anyone who needs a reliable, compact and portable monitor. I give it 5 stars based on my personal experience and product reviews.

This monitor is lightweight enough for my backpack when I travel with my work laptop. I LOVE having the larger screen to work in my hotel room as I travel a lot for work. I would highly recommend this monitor for those who travel. Be cautious on weight with some of the others…

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic and so easy to use!!

I’ve been eyeballing one of these for a long time and finally bought one. It has been super helpful when I’m working away from my desk. The fact that it only needs one usb-c cable for power AND display out of my laptop makes it so easy to use.

The magnetic case needs need to be put on correctly. If it is don’t backwards the magnets don’t line up correctly. Once I figured that out, and got the case on correctly, I have had zero issues with it.
