I found a carousel full of slides from 60 years ago (!) with no way to see them properly. This little viewer worked perfectly. It was a small monetary investment for a trip into the past.

I have slides dating back 50 years. The projector was almost as old and didn’t work. I researched and bought this. What a great time I had going through so many memories! Now it is manual and you have to look at them one at a time. The cost was great. Screen size is small but it was bright and good quality!

Works fine for slides. Negatives come in strips so only each end is accessible unless you cut the strips up, not practical.

It worked fine to view old color slides with the unit's slide off-on switch...it is not rechargeable though...you need standard batteries to replace...

I was excited to view photos that I haven't seen since the 70's. First, the light did not come on. I bought knew batteries. Still did not work. Peace of junk. Not going to reorder.

Given the simplicity of this device I don’t understand how they can justify the cost. That said, if you just want to preview slides and don’t mind paying 3X what it’s worth, it works. Would I buy it again? No, I’d scour tag sales for an old one with a spring that you push the slide down on to view and pops up when you release it that would sell for $3.
