For the price and my use I just don't think there is a better external monitor available. I have used this to run multiple virtual machines, watch videos, and even run some games. I have been extremely impressed with this product thus far, and I would highly recommend this to the mid-level user.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great graphics and price, set up depends ..... 4.9 stars

I picked these 27 inch monitors up for about $166 each. Love the picture quality, but takes quite a longer for these to "boot up" than my older HP and LG monitors. My HP turned on as soon as my computer was powered on while the LG took about 5 seconds, these take around 20.

I understand this is due to the type and quality of the displays, which are way superior to either of my older monitors, but it seems my system takes longer to get to the desktop with these monitors and that is a bit frustrating.

However, having two matching monitors with awesome graphics, colors, and refresh rates is worth the wait. Both my older monitors ran at 60hz whereas these run at 165hz. My Hp was DVI and my LG HDMI, these run DP. I wonder if this could account for the longer load time? IDK.

Next, the controls are on the back of the right edge of the monitor, which is cool, kind of. They are large so easy to get to and use, however, running 2 monitors butted up against each other makes it difficult to get to the controls of the left monitor. Which means you have to move the monitor to adjust it then you get to mess with the alignment of both monitors to get the screens realigned...... which is a real chore because....

These monitors are hyper positional. They rotate, tilt, swivel, go up and down, pretty much any position or angle you want with great ease, which is great for getting them just right...... but can be a booger when trying to get two of them perfectly aligned. But once you get the set up perfect, they are sleek, sexy, and have gorgeous graphics, perfect in every way......... until you need to adjust the controls on that left monitor again.....

All in all, great monitors for a great price would highly recommend. Just understand that setting up a dual, or more, monitor system can take extra time. But it is worth it in the end.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Monitor Bad Speakers
Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2024
The refresh rate and the screen is perfect, nothing bad on that aspect. Until you find someone who likes to use the speakers on the monitor. I got this as a gift for my GF, and she doesn't necessarily enjoy wearing headphones all of the time. So, I recommend something different if you will be using the speakers. Other than that, it is a great monitor for the price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Panels are inconsistent.
Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2023
Have had this monitor for 2 years. I use it for both my pc and Xbox. I will evaluate how it looks on both of those separately.

Pc: the colors are vibrant and consistent with both games and media consumption. I even use it to type things and the words do not look blurry. I haven’t noticed any ghosting or tearing with any of the games I play. For context play apex, Valorant and rpg games. They all look amazing. The only issue I have is the built in speakers. They’re very low even when at max volume so I suggest using a mic and connecting ur earbuds to that or using the headphone Jack on the monitor.

Xbox: I have noticed ghosting when I watch Netflix or any videos I have no idea why but I’m gonna assume it’s bc Xbox caps things at 60fps. The image can be blurry at times with media consumption even if my net and such is fine. Games tho, those seem fine. Again Xbox caps at 60fps but I haven’t noticed tearing or ghosting when I play my console games. The colors look nice and consistent too. There is a difference in how the contrast, and richness of the colors look on xbox vs pc.

I’d recommend this monitor for people with a pc since on Xbox the colors aren’t as bright and rich but they don’t look terrible. If on console I’d say use it for games only and not any media. For pc, I love it for everything.

Price: I bought this in 2021 and it was $266 including taxes. I’d say it was worth it since it’s still going strong and I haven’t a dead pixel or anything go wrong with it.

I will say, the panels are inconsistent. I bought my brother one two months after I made my purchase and his panel looked blurry and not rich in color. I’d say I got lucky and got one with a good panel. So it’s a 50/50 chance you’ll get a good one or a bad one.
