Very solid non-gaming computer!

We got this for my Aunt for Christmas. This computer is a LOT of computer for the price. A top of the line i7 processor, Fast SSD drive, 16Gb of RAM and plenty of connections, it is a very high performance computer for under $999 at this point and time. The only thing it lacks is a high end graphics card for 3d gaming, which my Aunt did not need. Honestly, this was more computer than she needed, but we wanted to give her a premier experience and also wanted to keep her from having to update any time soon. She had her last computer for over 10 years, so this one should last her nearly that long as well, based on its current specs and her use-case.

For anything but high-intensive graphics processing, this is pretty much as much computer as most people ever need for stuff like internet surfing, e-mail, word processing and videos and such. It’s good quality, and it is working great. We paired it with a nice 27 inch Samsung monitor and it is a beast. It also comes with a mouse and a chicklet keyboard, which is up to you to keep or change. But they are perfectly functional and work fine unless you need something more.

My 9 year old DELL windows 10 is getting on it's last legs So I decided to buy a new Dell with Windows 11 pro and Intel13th gen I7 So far I really like it and it's fast Lots of new features and locations for your stuff Not that crazy about One Drive running in the background, but I can pause it at anytime, or go to start up items and just turn it off if I need more internet speed 1 TB of cloud storage included with Microsoft 365 personal which anyway had before Very snappy performance compared to my older Dell A couple hundred more and I would have 2 SSDs but that's OK Mine has 2 TB's of storage One is SS and the other a Seagate 7200rpm which is considered better than 5400rpm Good WiFi too as it easily detected and connected with my old HP wifi printer and it prints!! Plenty of USB ports and one USB 3.0 type C port It also has SD card reader, audio in and headphone out Plug and play works great for my USB microphone and USB webcams I downloaded Audacity with no problem and it works fantastic with the microphone or with any another source of input you choose It has the CD player/burner tray A must have for me This Dell 3020 boots up fast and runs quiet and easy to set up, a child could do it Don't forget to register your PC and download the Dell Support Assist app The disc player only plays music CD's and files for data but for watching DVD movies You must download Microsoft Media Player or go to SourceForge or other sites that offer VLC player VLC is a free and open source cross-platform multimedia player and framework that plays most multimedia files as well as DVDs, Audio CDs, VCDs for Windows and for playing DVD movies I've downloaded VLC player many times on other machines and It works very good Very satisfied so far with my new Dell 3020 machine I still trust Dell for my computer needs Microsoft? not so much

This Computer is top notch and Came as expected. Plenty of storage. I bought this computer knowing that I will have to buy a GPU to play Kerbal Space Program 2 as well as 64 GB of ram but. This thing runs so smoothly as is. It's amazing and is frankly plenty.

Dell Inspiron 3020s I3 desktop review. I plug all my pc devices into one power board and power everything on/off when using them. When the power is first applied to the desktop it's normal to power on/off for 3 seconds, then push the button to power on as normal. Reading online I found this is due to a BIOS setting which isn't easy to change for me. Like anything you can look it up on internet. This works well for my use as I'm not a gamer. I probably didn't need the 1TB hard drive as the 256 SSD is probably enough. It also came with a wired mouse and wired keyboard which wasn't mentioned in the description. All my devices were plug and play. Printer, mouse, keyboard, monitor, external cd r/w drive, external hard drive. I didn't need to load any drivers from CD's. The drivers on my cd's probably wouldn't work with windows 11 anyway. It has a covered slot on the front panel which looks like an optical CD/ DVD drive could go. (I'm not sure but from other Dell small desktops that's where it's installed, I'm not sure if connection for it is in there) The PC I received is not noisy as others have reported. It's actually very quiet. and is sitting on my desk in front of me.

Just amazing. Brand new 3020S (NOT refurbished) hooked it all up. New dell monitor "cannot detect a PC". Called tech. After 5 minutes he said the PC is defective, probably motherboard. Send it back. I am at a loss for more words and I am not happy with this junk. Going back today. Amazingly awful for Dell.

Received my new 3020S comp...my third new Dell computer. This one is less than half the size of my last one, less money also and much advanced in features. I have to switch over to it yet-
Only critical remark I will make is the instructions with it are VERY short...I like to read over instructions on anything new to acclimate myself to the product. But, in actuality it is pretty hard to not get the setup right. Plug in & play does work..
Dell has a support system to contact (that I have used) & that works well. This does save costs all around & that is a correct way to handle that area. Thanks Dell & amazon you got it right again- Dave Richardson

I have been using and building computers since 1978. I currently have 2 big tower computers that sit on the floor and that I built -- one is Windows 10 and one is Fedora Linux. I also have a Dell laptop, 2 tablets, and the new Dell computer. This Dell does not take up much desktop space, has all necessary connections, and runs fast enough for personal and, I think, probably business use. {The only slightly bad thing is that the instructions that came with it were very skimpy, and Dell could do better there.} Otherwise, the Dell, which is attached to a Dell, monitor, runs great. I highly recommend this computer.
