The printer performs well in terms of speed and makes labels pretty quickly. Unfortunately, the labels are not as high quality as the text looks on the screen (choppy/pixelated).
I also tried this with other thermal paper that fit inside. I was happy it allowed me to input the settings for the unrecognized thermal paper. However, it wasn't able to print on it.
The app experience is also really good but with some flaws. It's great in that it allows quick text editing and has lots of features to align text, change, the font, add borders, etc. However, there are times where the app shows a 5 second image ad which is really annoying. The app also pushes a lot of products and promotions to the user. It also shows many icons, fonts, and features that are only available for VIP subscribers. That and considering the cost of labels that work with this label maker makes getting this label maker cost a lot in the long run.
I've yet to find 3rd party thermal paper that works with this label maker that isn't so expensive.
