    Shipped with no documentation but set up was intuitive enough. User manual is available online.
    Inserted sim from a T-Mobile MVNO (Mint Mobile in this case) and it recognized the service. All my devices recognize this gadget and hook up to 5G Wi-Fi with it. 5000mah battery should last sufficiently. I travel with work, so this will make my life easier if there's no other connectivity available.

    I'm happy with this purchase... I can't account for any neg reviews.

    So I was going to order this and then saw all the mixed and bad reviews. I had a Tmobile hotspot that died.
    I inserted my sim and tuned it on. INSTANT SUCCESS!

    The connection is solid with Tmobile.streaming is fast. Good build.

    Don’t hesitate to get this if you are a Tmobile customer . You won’t be disappointed

    This is horrible, inserted simcard, turned it on, conneted a brand new laptop to it and went to the home page mobile.hotspot apparently in a minute, the laptop used over 650mb of internet.

    Total trash, is better to just use your phone as hotspot.

    Many campgrounds I stay at have spotty-at-best wi-fi, and sitting down to work on my laptop or stream a movie at night can be a frustrating experience. I bought this hotspot, using it with an extra data SIM card for my Google Fi account, and it has worked great. I can stream movies over data from a smart TV, attend Zoom calls (I turn off video, or drop my quality to 360p) for working remotely, and have mostly done everything I need to when on the go. It has a battery, so I don't have to be tethered to an outlet, and I can truly be mobile.

    as a hotspot device it works great, its fast and easy to use.

    the great:
    the USB port works great for tethering at highspeed as well as supports ETHERnet OTA adapeer for use either as a tethered USB or NIC device. Good radios and got full 5G UC speed with no issue the fastest i have seen TMOBLE run for me. 300+mb on a good day, but when i needed it most was lucky to get 15mb i don't blame the device it was the carrier.

    did need to get my sim re-provisioned as a 'mi' device and seemed to make it work a little better.

    the bad: its locked to t-mobile, and t-mobile is clueless about how to unlock on the first call and not found time to try again. but the device clearly has an unlock provision/function the carrier are unable or unwilling to use. (will try again some day)

    the ugly: the device i received is already owned in the MDM infra , and no obvious way to log on or take it back, which is kind of a non-starter for more than this being treated as an emergency limited use device. Who exactly has creds to re-provision it from the MDM ? not sure. thats a problem. mabye enough to consider returning it if there is no work around solution.

    device is great but not sure the savings as a referb unit is worth it.

    I normally don't buy renewed but this will only be used when my regular internet is out of service. If you work out of a home office this is essential. Because of Helene I didn't have internet for a month. This cost a fraction of the price compared to new from t-mobile. It should have been factory reset but wasn't. That's easy enough to do. Works great.

    This hotspot works great with a Google Fi data only SIM. I didn't even have to change the APN configuration. It's also works with a Uni brand USB-C to 1gbe ethernet adapter (the one with the separate USB-C charging port). The RG2100 draws power from the ethernet adapter while transmitting data over USB-C ethernet adapter. I tried using it with a couple different 2.5gbe USB-C ethernet adapters and none of those worked. I assume this is due to a driver compatibility issue.
