You already know the name is quality. Corsair has earned its reputation of being quality equipment by making good, durable products. This PSU is easy to install and worked great. The included cables are all matching and look good inside my case. Modular design is a must have for me at this point. Cables are long enough to allow for hiding. Great PSU. Can't hear it run.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for overclocking and saving power

It reduced my power bill a tiny bit, and it powers my components well for overclocking my GPU and CPU which are demanding for mid to high range overclocking. It doesn't weigh much, it's amazing price for the value, it has a high wattage of 850 which is more than enough for a 14th gen intel CPU, or a 4070, 4080 super, and 4090 (maybe on the 4090 unsure but def the 4080 super and 4070 will work great with this), and it supports 7 SSDs, and 1 HDD I have installed (3 nvme 3.5 terabyte total, 3 internal ssds with sata connection 750gb total, and 1 HDD 2 terabyte total) as well as 9 fans, a 360mm aio cooler, and a z790m micro atx motherboard, and a rtx 4070(upgrading to 4080 super soon) thats how powerful this is it can power all these components with no issues or instability and it's newer and supports PCIE 5 for future proofing.

Overall id recommend you get it. It's affordable, and high quality at the same time. It's design and appearance are cool, but my case hides it so that didn't matter to me much. I don't have pictures since it would be annoying right now to take it apart in my case. Sorry.

when my old noname psu started to make trouble,
i did some research, mostly at cultist's psu tiers list and have chosen this psu - tier a, available and most reasonable price, (750w, atx 3.0 & pcie 5.0 for future proof for some planned midrange rtx 5000 gpu)
until this psu arrived i used some replacement psu (tier f) from computer lab guy .
replacement psu was actually new one with box.
so essentially i have experienced using 2 new out of the box psu recently.

i write all this to talk about coil whine.
f tier replacement cpu started quiet and after 1 hour loud coil whine began. i had just turn off pc at night. i didn't really care because i knew it was a temporary one.
interestingly, after 1 week of coil whine - it mostly disappeared and tier f psu worked almost silently.

after this cpu arrived - it had similar coil whine pattern: start silent, then some period of coil whine, than silent. probably because it's tier a - coil whine period was much shorter - 2-3 days.

so people complaining about coil whine probably should give a psu some chance before rma.

except that, psu is just working (now it's 1 week since installing). my general load is way below 750w, probably less than 20% of it, so psu fan is just idle not spinning - best outcome for silence.

5.0 out of 5 stars Performs great and runs quiet

Been running this PSU for 2 months now and it runs quiet and came with all of the cables needed for my pc to run a PNY 4080 Super. Length of cables were just right when running it in the Lian Li Dynamic Evo RGB mid tower case (which is basically a full size case) but I would have liked to see them be a little longer. All in all buy this if you want something quiet and powerful.

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock solid, works perfect

It's a power supply. If it provides completely stable power, is quiet, and you don't have to think about it after installing it, it's great.

This one is completely stable, is quiet, and easy to install. Including 12vhpwr in the box was a nice touch, and it's a lot nicer to work with than the Nvidia dongle that comes with the 4k series GPU's. Not much else to say about a power supply.

No real cons to this one other than it's a little stinky out of the box and for the first couple of days you use it. I assume it's the powdercoat they painted it with rather than the scent of raw power, but it lasted a day or two in a high airflow case. Captain Stinky here has been rock solid since I first booted up the system I powered it with, though, so it's not much of a complaint.

PSU, does what it needs to do supply power, reasonable price. Only complaint is the cables out of the box while not terrible are not very flexible at all. Replace with the Type-4 Sleeved Cables much better.

This power supply is excellent. It’s quiet and performs reliably, which is exactly what you want from a PSU.

It does its job without any fuss, and I’ve had no issues with it so far. If you’re looking for a dependable and silent power supply, this one is a great choice.
