It's a power supply. If it provides completely stable power, is quiet, and you don't have to think about it after installing it, it's great.

This one is completely stable, is quiet, and easy to install. Including 12vhpwr in the box was a nice touch, and it's a lot nicer to work with than the Nvidia dongle that comes with the 4k series GPU's. Not much else to say about a power supply.

No real cons to this one other than it's a little stinky out of the box and for the first couple of days you use it. I assume it's the powdercoat they painted it with rather than the scent of raw power, but it lasted a day or two in a high airflow case. Captain Stinky here has been rock solid since I first booted up the system I powered it with, though, so it's not much of a complaint.

Great modular PSU with flexible cable options. Runs everything great, low heat, no noise in my acoustically optimized system. No RGB lights, but solid internal components and futureproof with Corsair's modular cables. My system is super stable, plenty of power, runs well.

subtle branding with plenty of in box cables that are tied to not be messy. It's not silent but neither are the other fans in my build so I cant complain. 7 year warranty is nice too, didn't need to register it unlike some products

Corsair Quality Doesn't dissapoint

New HTPC build. Corsair always works right out of the box. Tried an EVGA Fully Modular and it reported being in ATX parameters, but it wouldn't boot a PC. Replaced with this Corsair and it worked on first press of power on button. Don't know why I would trust any other company. I have never had any problems with Corsair Power Supplies.

My Mythtv computer was glitchy...noise in the video recordings. No cause found. Replaced power supply and it works perfect again. I was very happy to see on the box that this power supply is made in Taiwan. That's a pretty good guarantee of quality.

Easy to install, clear connection ports and labels. Great value for your money. Not loud when using pc. This is actually really decent for a beginners first build.

Really the biggest complaint is it only comes with one 6+2 pin connector for the GPU,so you are resorted to piggybacking which is not a good practice

Great Power Supply; Well Engineered; Very Quiet

This Corsair power supply has got to be the best PSU I have ever worked with In terms of Bench Testing a PC. The Modular Design lets you only plug in what is needed to make the system work, which allows you to avoid unnecessary clutter of unused cables unlike traditional PSU's. if i apply the concept of this power supply to building a PC, the Cable Management will be much easier as you will have extra space to store excess cables and can retain the unused cables in your box outside of the case until needed.
During bench testing of my new system which contains the following parts:
- ASUS ROG Crosshair X670E Hero
- AMD 7900X 170 W
- Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5
- Gigabyte Nvidia RTX 3060 12G
- Crucial T700 2Tb Gen 5 PCIe M.2
- Micron 500 Gb Gen 4 PCIe M.2
- RM1000e PSU 1000 W

I was able to boot, and bench test (Cinnebench 2024) my system and this Unit didn't spin the cooling fan up once for the first 5 minutes of the test. Once the fan kicked on it was so unbelievably quiet. My current system has an EVGA 650W power supply in it and that thing sounds like a leaf blower sometimes. The Corsair PSU functions in a "Zero RPM" state only spinning up when needed and the fan is so quiet you cant really tell when its on unless you are looking at it.

I plan on Building y system once my case arrives, and will update my review about installation and cable management, and include a few pictures to boot. I Ordered Corsair Pro Sleeved cables for my build so I will not be using the stock cables in my final build, however I did use them for bench testing and I can say that the stock cables are nice, flat ribbon cables with a durable exterior coating. They are flexible yet sturdy, and can be easily Cable Managed with zip-ties and Velcro straps. Overall first impressions i would Definitely recommend this to people who need a great power supply with intuitive modular cable management for cases like the Corsair 4000.
