I bought this laptop because my old laptop is starting to"crap out" the only thing I don't like about this laptop that I thought I had included in my search was that it is not a touch screen but I can live with that otherwise it is a great laptop it has Windows 11 and products related and I could not be more pleased with my purchase. It is lightweight speedy and sturdy as well! It charged very fast and stayed charged for at least 10 hours so I could not be more pleased! As far as the amount of storage I did go smaller than I always have but I do have an external hard drive in the off chance that I decide to save anything which I typically don't intend to do other than a few pictures so I should be covered as far as storage goes! This laptop was the best value and had everything I wanted other than the touch screen you should purchase this laptop if you are in the market for something that is very reliable and sturdy and has a keypad for the numbers which was very important to me the keyboard is also backlit which is another important selling point to me this computer is so easy to use and easy to set up I'm glad I made this purchase it is hard to find a good laptop for under $600 and this most certainly is a good laptop!

Nice Budget Laptop

Great laptop and love the large screen and the 2TB M.2 HD. I was concerned about the CPU now after have a few days and many hours I can safely say that for the $600 PT it's a solid deal especially considering its a 17.3" HD Display and the 2TB M.2 along with 32GB's of RAM. The keyboard feels nice and the system has a solid over all feel with a sense of high quality at a really low price point.
The only complaint is the battery life and that may improve after its been fully charged and discharged a few times.
I recommend and would purchase this laptop again.

Great computer, but not Windows Pro

The computer is light weight and works well. We are using it at our non-profit for our nursing department and it has plenty of storage for all of their documentation and runs fast. I have no complaints with how the computer works.

I am giving it 4 stars because even though the description says it comes with Windows 11 Pro, it does NOT. It comes with Windows 11 home and I had to pay to upgrade it to the pro version.

Getting out of S Mode

WARNING....SHIPS IN S MODE. The 32gb ram/2tb ssd version says it comes with Windows 11 Home. It actually comes with Windows 11 Home in S Mode. That means you can only download programs from the Microsoft Store. No Firefox or Webroot or many other 3rd party programs. Disabling S Mode seems fairly easy according to the instructions provided by Microsoft. Not so fast. It appears that Microsoft has made this an incredibly frustrating venture, most likely hoping you'll give up and just use the MS Store to download programs. I spent SEVERAL hours trying to disable S Mode, trying every step I could find on the internet. Finally decided to reset the computer to the factory defaults (Start > Settings > System > Recovery > Reset PC). Then disabled S Mode (Start > Settings > System > Activation > S Mode). It worked.....finally. Was very close to returning the pc. Amazon needs to update its product description to accurately show the operating system.

I am a Web Developer / Internet Marketer. This machine is super fast! The upgraded RAM (32GB) males for instant load times for even the most complex of programs including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and video production software. For the price, I'm very happy with my purchase! I'm using this laptop as a "Desktop Replacement" including 2 external monitors etc. Once again, this laptop proves to be an extreme value for the hardware capabilities!

This computer was purchased to replace an HP Envy 17-T that I had since 2014. When looking for a replacement, I was a bit skeptical because this had the Intel I3 whereas my Envy had the Intel I7 but I am thoroughly impressed with the speed of the computer. It is faster than my Envy was - though I do need to take into consideration the advancements in processor technology over the years. The screen has a higher resolution than my Envy had so I get more screen "realestate". During setup, it registered itself with HP so the HP Support Assistant shows that there is indeed a warranty that expires next year. Because I use Microsoft 365, I was able to use the last backup of my Envy to restore this computer to the way I had my Envy configured. The only other change I made was to partition the 1 Terabyte SSD into two equal-sized partitions. To summarize, this computer is everything I needed. It is fast and a very nice computer and this is something I didn't expect coming from the HP Envy.
