5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic Monitor for Gaming and Everyday Use
Reviewed in the United States on August 21, 2024
This 27-inch Sceptre monitor has been a great addition to my setup. The 100Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time make gaming super smooth, with no noticeable lag. The colors are vibrant, and the 100% sRGB coverage really makes everything pop, whether I'm gaming or working on design projects.

The frameless design looks sleek on my desk, and the multiple ports (two HDMI and one DisplayPort) make it easy to switch between my PC and console. The built-in speakers are a nice touch—good enough for casual use, though I still prefer my external speakers for serious gaming.

One of the best features for me is the eye care technology. I spend long hours in front of the screen, and this monitor significantly reduces eye strain. The AMD FreeSync works flawlessly, ensuring smooth, tear-free gameplay.

Overall, this monitor is a steal for the price. It’s perfect for anyone looking for a solid, affordable option that performs well across the board.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value, perfect for college students
Reviewed in the United States on July 23, 2024
This monitor is a great value for college students, for an office, or budget/beginner gaming computer. The color quality is not great compared to more expensive monitors tailored for gaming, but it is not a serious problem and it works great for the price. The best part about this monitor is the compact packaging and it is lightweight. You are provided with two screws and a screwdriver, which screws on the back of the monitor neck to hold the monitor in place. To disassemble, you just take out those screws, you can put everything back in the foam, and slide it back in the box. Then, you can carry the box easily under one arm. That’s why this is the perfect monitor for college move-ins/outs or anyone on the move with a monitor. I need two hands to carry the box of my more expensive Acer Nitro gaming monitor, but not this one. Finally, no computer monitor speakers are high quality, so don’t expect a rock concert coming out of any monitor speakers. They are just fine.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Gem in the Workspace - Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor Review
Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2023
Overview:
The Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor has seamlessly integrated itself into my workspace, offering a host of features that enhance my daily computing experience. While not without a minor quirk, it's proven to be a valuable addition to my setup, specially considering it's affordable price.

Packaging and Accessories:
The unboxing experience was a pleasant surprise. The packaging was not only secure but also included a genuinely useful screwdriver. Unlike other products, every item promised was present, making the setup process smooth and hassle-free.

Built-in Speakers:
Admittedly, the built-in speakers fell short of expectations. I quickly switched to my computer speakers for better audio quality. While not a deal-breaker, audiophiles might find this aspect lacking. Thankfully, the visual experience compensates for this minor setback.

Display Quality:
As a secondary screen for my MacBook Air, the Sceptre monitor holds its own. The display quality is commendable, delivering crisp visuals that are not as high-quality as the MacBook, but is a fairly good companion to it, specially if you don't really need extremely high-quality graphics. There's a brief delay upon waking the computer, but once in use, the monitor performs flawlessly.

Reflection and Workspace Dynamics:
Working next to a window, I appreciate the minimal reflection on the screen. This monitor handles ambient light admirably, allowing me to focus on tasks without distraction. It's a testament to its thoughtful design, especially for those in well-lit environments.

User-Friendly Controls:
Navigating the controls on the back of the monitor is a breeze. The intuitive layout ensures quick adjustments without any learning curve. This user-friendly aspect adds to the overall positive experience with the device.

Final Thoughts:
The Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor is a reliable companion in my daily workflow as a developer. Despite a hiccup with the built-in speakers, the exceptional packaging, display quality, affordable price, and user-friendly controls make it a worthwhile investment. If you're seeking a sleek and efficient secondary monitor that enhances your workspace, this Sceptre model is certainly worth considering.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good value

I bought this to replace a burned-out 27-inch monitor. It was easy to install on a wall mount and produced a good picture.
I was surprised how light it was compared to my previous monitor of the same size. I like that.
It does not include a remote as it is a monitor, not a TV. I never used the remote on my old one and had lost it long ago. There is no reason to have a remote on a monitor.
The picture quality is good.
The price was fantastic.
I highly recommend this to anyone needing a computer monitor or monitor for a streamer, such as a Fire Stick.

I needed a second monitor for my office. I read the reviews and purchased this one. The clarity and sharpness of this monitor is great. You can easily play games with this monitor. I use it for work and looking at spreadsheets and what not but it can be used for anything you are working on. For the price it is worth it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive
Reviewed in the United States on September 6, 2024
Excellent picture quality, I'm very impressed. Don't listen to those who say it's not tiltable. You can look at the mount and see it was designed to tilt. It's just very hard (at first). Hold down the base and tilt away.
I will definitely recommend to my friends/associates. Of course the speakers aren't that great, but they're OK for a monitor. If you want GREAT sound from a monitor then buy an Apple Studio Pro (6 speakers). I love mine and got rid of my Bose speakers because of how great they are.
