5.0 out of 5 stars Scepter 24 LED Monitor

First there is a real manual that has all of the many adjustments that can be made. The picture is good for my application. One button on off/joy stick mode for all display adjustments.
Sound is tinny but it is a thin monitor.
I'm happy with the price and performance.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great budget monitor for gaming and work
Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2024
For $100+ you get a good looking 1080 p monitor with a fairly high refresh rate and other perks, like AMD free sync. There is some setup required such as going into displays setup in windows to select 100 hz refresh rate and turning on far and adaptive sync in your gpu software, but nothing you won’t have trouble with if you’ve played games on pc. People worried about dpi on 27 inch monitor with 1080p, don’t. Images are clear and crisp and hard as I try, I don’t see individual pixels in Word or Emails. I’ve noticed some impressive performance improvements using free sync /fsr with my mini pc with a mobile 780M IGPU. I also really like the monitor menu joystick selector and 2 HDMI and 1 DSP port so I can easily connect and switch between work laptop and personal PC. Speakers are serviceable and in stereo, but tinny. My mini Bluetooth speaker sounds better. Have not tried pass through audio out - may try a mini sound-bar down the road.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Gem in the Workspace - Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor Review
Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2023
Overview:
The Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor has seamlessly integrated itself into my workspace, offering a host of features that enhance my daily computing experience. While not without a minor quirk, it's proven to be a valuable addition to my setup, specially considering it's affordable price.

Packaging and Accessories:
The unboxing experience was a pleasant surprise. The packaging was not only secure but also included a genuinely useful screwdriver. Unlike other products, every item promised was present, making the setup process smooth and hassle-free.

Built-in Speakers:
Admittedly, the built-in speakers fell short of expectations. I quickly switched to my computer speakers for better audio quality. While not a deal-breaker, audiophiles might find this aspect lacking. Thankfully, the visual experience compensates for this minor setback.

Display Quality:
As a secondary screen for my MacBook Air, the Sceptre monitor holds its own. The display quality is commendable, delivering crisp visuals that are not as high-quality as the MacBook, but is a fairly good companion to it, specially if you don't really need extremely high-quality graphics. There's a brief delay upon waking the computer, but once in use, the monitor performs flawlessly.

Reflection and Workspace Dynamics:
Working next to a window, I appreciate the minimal reflection on the screen. This monitor handles ambient light admirably, allowing me to focus on tasks without distraction. It's a testament to its thoughtful design, especially for those in well-lit environments.

User-Friendly Controls:
Navigating the controls on the back of the monitor is a breeze. The intuitive layout ensures quick adjustments without any learning curve. This user-friendly aspect adds to the overall positive experience with the device.

Final Thoughts:
The Sceptre 24-inch Professional Thin 1080p LED Monitor is a reliable companion in my daily workflow as a developer. Despite a hiccup with the built-in speakers, the exceptional packaging, display quality, affordable price, and user-friendly controls make it a worthwhile investment. If you're seeking a sleek and efficient secondary monitor that enhances your workspace, this Sceptre model is certainly worth considering.

5.0 out of 5 stars Well worthy replacement!
Reviewed in the United States on May 24, 2024
My old monitor was by Acer and had some weird resolutions (e.g.: 1440x900). I chose to replace it (finally) with this Sceptre monitor and aside from not having a quick source switch option (my HP monitor (now secondary display) allows double pressing Source to switch between two sources), it's absolutely incredible! Great size, image quality, refresh rate, AMD sync, you name it! Would definitely recommend and order again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great monitor for a low price
Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2024
I bought this monitor to go with a new desktop that I use for work and GIS projects. The resolution and color is excellent. The only issue I have is that once in awhile, it shuts down after a period of inactivity and doesn't want to come back up. If I unplug the power and plug it back in, it comes up fine. I've had it for about 4 months, and it's been working very well for me. The power off issue has only happened a few times, and it always comes back up.
For the price I paid, I'm happy with this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Monitor - But Don't Buy for Sound Quality
Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2024
This monitor is excellent for my needs. Easy setup, outstanding video quality. The Blue Light feature is quite easy on the eyes. The speakers do not live up to the description of "robust sound" - they are quite flat and tinny - but I am not a gamer and this monitor is used primarily for business purposes. I had hoped to reduce a bit of clutter by losing my desktop speakers, but even for simple video calls the built-in speakers wouldn't do. Still, I give this monitor 5 stars for design and video quality, along with the fact that, when I had a quick technical question, I got a friendly US-based rep on the phone with less than a minute's wait time. That was very impressive in its own right.
