I bought this product to use with a Chromebook forgetting chrome OS is unlike Windows and Mac. As such this product isn't designed for and doesn't work with a Chromebook. However, I tested it on a Windows machine and it worked well. It has a good range and strong connection. On windows the install is seamless, on Mac you may have to go driver searching especially if you cannot access the driver's on the included CD. Also, exact speeds of the adapter were not tested as it was not entirely necessary for my use.

Great performance for the price, at least equal to the built-in wifi chips in modern laptops. Pulls in the WiFi signal well, has proven to be trouble free over the past few months. Braindead easy install in Windows10/11 (chipset supported natively, no driver install to worry with), just plug it in and connect to your WiFi after a few seconds.

It works fine, but watch out for the limited range. With little to no antenna you will need very clear line of sight and no obstacles between you and your router. Even in the same room about 6 feet away from the router I get low signal, but it's good enough, and the price is right.

I purchased this product with my own money, without reimbursement of any type. I have no relationship with the seller, or manufacturer, other than as a customer This is my honest opinion of the product after using it.

Easy to use, connects well, plug and play, stays connected, no wires, not too bulky and in the way.

My hard wire Ethernet connection in my Desktop went kaplooey, so I bought this to connect by Wifi. It works very well, no dropped signals or problems with the computer acknowledging it. I have an old Windows 8 computer. I just plugged it in, restarted my computer and it has worked fine ever since.

For a nice low price, you get a fast connection that has a good distance. I get about 15MB/s download (~150mbps) which isn't bad for how small it is and how far away I am from my router. It's not as fast as an actual internal Wifi card with antennae (I had to remove mine to make room for a GPU since I have a mini motherboard) but it's still better than other things I've used. (A netgear wifi extender and lan cable... got only 5MB/s, and an ASUS wifi adapter only got me 1.6MB/s.)

Native support in Linux no problem. Great dongle. Instant. I'm using it with Batocera distro Linux and didn't have to do anything and was able to simply login to wifi without effort. Super simple.

I have an oler Dell laptop. Recently my WIFI connection kept falling out. After exhausting all the fixes suggested on-line it came down to my WIFI adapter card failing. So I got this USB Adapter and as soon as it initialized I was off and running. The system is up all the time and I'm experiencing higher speeds than with the WIFI card that came with the computer. Granted I'm not streaming much, just basic stuff. Great value.
(NOTE: When I first inserted the unit into my USB port it didn't turn on (no light on the side of the plug). I needed to turn off my computer and restart. Once done the USB adapter lit up and was recognized by the software supplied with the unit).
