5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent WiFi Coverage with TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Range Extender!
Reviewed in the United States on June 22, 2024
I recently purchased the TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Range Extender from Amazon, and I must say, this device is amazing! I live in a duplex apartment where the 5G signals from my WiFi router are very weak in the upper floor bedroom. After researching various options, I decided on this extender due to its reputed reception power.

This extender truly lives up to its claims. It can receive even the slightest signals and effectively extend the range, providing strong and consistent WiFi coverage throughout my entire apartment. Setting it up was straightforward, and the difference in connectivity is noticeable immediately. The TP-Link AX3000 has transformed my WiFi experience, eliminating dead zones and providing reliable internet access in every corner of my home.

I am very satisfied with this purchase and highly recommend it to anyone facing similar connectivity issues. If you're looking for a powerful and efficient WiFi range extender, the TP-Link AX3000 WiFi 6 Range Extender is the way to go!

I updated a 4 year old Tp link wifi booster with this one. A big increase in speed and a big increase on range. A hugely positive experience. Worth the money. Very easy to link. You will be happy with this.

5.0 out of 5 stars TP-Link is a solid name you can trust! Buy it!

Well, a little over a year ago I bought a cheap Chinese one which actually worked for just about a year and then it completely died. The brand had disappeared not too surprisingly, so I bought another cheap Chinese one that had 4.9 stars. Unfortunately, i didn't read the reviews and later realized that some of them were actually for dog collars and other things in some sort of weird review, bait and switch. Well the thing didn't work so I returned it and looked around and tried several other products that were about the same price. They look real fancy, but if you read the reviews carefully a lot of them, the reviews aren't for the product listed there for some other product that has absolutely nothing to do with a Wi-Fi extender. The reviews are real enough, or were, but the sellers must switch products and keep the descriptions the same. I don't know how they do it but they are fooling Amazon.

This product, the TP link is expensive. It cost over $100. It's big. It's heavy. It's like that line in Jurassic Park, "If it's heavy it's expensive" but it works! Set up took 2 minutes with the tether app and was completely easy. I didn't have to use anything else. I needed to change the name of the connection point and I thought that might be difficult because it had to be the same as the previous one, so that I didn't have to reset all the devices. But that was super easy. It was a dream. It works great right out of the box. I wish everything would set up and work that quickly.

So bottom line, I love TP link. I would certainly buy another one of these and it comes with a 2-year warranty so presumably it's not going to die in a year and if it does it's under warranty and the company isn't going to have vanished. Yeah you can get a chaper no-name one for about 40 bucks and I'll bet you it either won't set up or it won't work very well and if it works it'll die soon.

I was able to extend the wifi network from the home to an outbuilding about 100ft away from the main house. The connection is line of sight from a TP router to the extender. It provides excellent connectivity in this application. The Mesh software is easy to use and works well for setup.

I like the ease of setup following clear instructions. I purchased this WiFi extender to be able to get a strong signal to my launch monitor in my backyard. Prior to installing this I was getting constant drops from my wifi ruining the experience of simulation golf, no more, getting a good WiFi signal and very pleased with the result.
