5.0 out of 5 stars Works great with M720 Mouse
Reviewed in the United States on June 4, 2024
My laptop's bluetooth kept disconnecting so I bought this receiver because my mouse only came with one and I wanted to use it with multiple PCs. The receiver range isn't great, but maybe lots of interference near my table but the range is only 6 feet or less before it starts dropping motions.

The installation was pretty fast, I did need to install some app so the device and mouse would get paired and recognized, but no issues after installation so far.

This product arrived timely, however, it did not work with my Logitech device. I am pretty tech savvy so I do not think this is user error.

Logitech's own web page hypes getting a "extra" Unifying receiver to connect a dual connectivity mouse or keyboard – or both – to a second computer. Then switch from one computer to the other with the push of a button for efficient multi-tasking.

Here's the thing: it doesn't work.

I got one of these, along with a Unifying-compatible Logi keyboard/mouse combo, hoping to be able to use one of these receivers on my desktop and another on my laptop and switch between the two. But according to Logitech support, contrary to what it says on its website (see screenshot), this Unifying dongle will "automatically forget" the mouse and keyboard when it connects to another device.

So why sell "extra" Unifying receivers? Good question.

I would gladly cop to buying the wrong products--leave the comment correcting me here--but when Logitech's own website outlines the use case I was trying to accomplish, only to find that it's not true, well, that's some deception bait-and-switch stuff right there.

So: don't buy one of these if you want to connect a peripheral to more than 1 computer. Because it won't.

4.0 out of 5 stars How to install
Reviewed in the United States on April 20, 2024
I had a problem connecting my Logitech mouse (M570) and keyboard (MK355). I tried to contact Logitech support through the Web but all I got was an interactive chat. After searching the Web I found the Logitech support 800#. Finally after reaching a live person, they directed me to the Logi Web Connect site (logiwebconnect.net) where I was then able to manually connect the devices by using a direct attached keyboard and mouse on the computer I was trying to attach the wireless mouse and keyboard to.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Dad lost the transmitter dongle that came with the MX S2 Mouse I got him. Got him this.

5/5 Rating

My Dad's computer went on the fritz 2 weeks ago. Come to find out he needed a new hard drive. Before he took it to the repair guy I instructed him to remove the Logitech MX Master 2S dongle transmitter in which he did. I didn't realize it would get lost shortly thereafter. I was kinda upset because the mouse won't work without it. Good thing these dongles were sold individually. Ordered one, it arrived 2 days later. Super easy to connect. Just download Logitech connecting program and it pretty much syncs it with whatever mouse or keyboard you have. Super simple. Crisis adverted.

Pros
Easy to use
Super easy to connect to Logitech peripherals
Affordable

Works great, be sure to download and install through the logi website, plug directly to pc. Make sure your computer has all its updates and mouse has full battery. The slot next to the battery that says NANO is just a storage space.

5.0 out of 5 stars I Found It !

Had a Logitech wireless keyboard/trackpad in storage that I found a use for recently…but the USB transceiver disappeared. No sense buying a whole new unit. Thanks to Logitech’s Amazon store, I found one…at a great price. I had concerns with compatibility and drivers, but it installed flawlessly, with provisions for multiple devices if need be. Thanks for the save Logitech.
