5.0 out of 5 stars Great homelab server

Great server for a home lab. The server hardware came as described and is robust. The specs allow me to do pretty much any I could want for a home lab setup. So far everything is working great.

Going on 10 days now with this server and I'm in love. I'm using it for a home lab running esxi and I have to say it's well worth the money. Ample storage and memory to run multiple VM's (I currently have 12 running smoothly). Haven't had a single problem thus far, and doubt that I will. Highly recommended for home or small business use. The thing is pretty heavy, but that is to be expected. My only complaint... I didn't get my free box of Nerds! (haha)

5.0 out of 5 stars All around awesome

The product arrived so well packed, that I didn't even want to take it out of the box. Gotta say, for a renewed item it was immaculate. Every single piece of equipment was tested, including driver compatibility with all parts. They do an initial os load to ensure everything works.

All the parts were included, rails, bezel and the power cords. And they were all with the server.. snug as a bug. I really wish manufacturers packed as well as they did.

Then, to take it one step further, the store owner made sure I was satisfied with a follow up question I had, by calling me and letting me know I could reach out to him directly.

You know the saying.. they earned my business.. The same day my item arrived, I placed an order for 2 more servers from the same seller. I highly recommend ConfigureSystem as your next equipment provider, I personally will be checking their inventory on a regular basis.

This showed that it had a DVD drive but it didn't.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very responsive seller

Server is about what you'd expect from a Dell server. Robust and capable, it's handling my Hyper-V load. Walked in five months after purchase to a dead drive and the array running in degraded state. One phone call later, the response was, "we got you". Drive is on its way. Will definitely be funneling my business their way.

5.0 out of 5 stars This refurbished server is significantly better than the one it replaced
Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2018
I bought this server to replace another Hyper-V server where the MB died, and I can't get a replacement. This refurbished server is significantly better than the one it replaced, and hopefully will be around for many years. There were (emphasis on were) 2 packs of Strawberry Nerds included, and a battery pack. There are no instructions included, but the Nerds were very tasty.

I think the battery pack might be for the RAID (RAID-6 in my case), but I need to figure that out still. After creating a UEFI bootable drive with Windows Server 2016 on it, I was able to install it on a UEFI partition. This will definitely allow me to create multiple VMs, and Containers, as I use it. If I don't come back and write a nasty update, you'll know that I am very happy with this server. THUMBS UP!
