I have a big scanner on my printer - but this is awesome for when you need to just scan in receipts or really anything small. It is super quick, great quality scans and you can take it with you anywhere!
Way easier than using my big scanner to scan receipts! It can scan up to the thickness of a credit card - haven't tried anything thicker yet. Super easy to use. Just place in slot, push button and the software lets you save as pdf, jpg or you have other options of what you what done with it. You can import receipts into Quickbooks too.

Picture quality is great, speed is great, size is awesome. It is a little coslier, but I think it's worth it. Scanning recipts is a breeze. Included software is good, though it doesn't itemize receipts like I expected; I didn't need that feature so not a big deal for me. It does pick up the total dollar amount, tax, and vendor name from most receipts which is pretty good. Can export to excel file or pdf too.
Very simple to use, once setup (which is simple) you just plug in and insert your paper and hit the scan button. Good for scanning smaller things too.

I bought this scanner quite a while ago the price was a little steep but I decided it was worth it for the convenience and portability. I was very happy with it in the beginning. Lately when I scan anything it puts a stripe on the right side of all documents. Still works. Is still convenient. But there is a little line in everything I scan. For the most part what I use it for I can over look that. But it sucks when I have to go use my regular big office scanner to make sure something looks nice.

I like this scanner to keep at my desk making it easier when scanning several pages and keep from having to walk over to the scanner for each one. Would love to try it out as a mobile scanner one day.

This is not compatible with a Mac. It says it it until you try a scan and it won’t scan for a Mac, it only will copy.

I take care of the "back office" chores for my wife's hairdressing business and there are more than a few register receipts to scan. Of course, this gadget will scan letter-width documents but honestly, if I have more than one or two of those, I'll use the ADF on the desktop printer/scanner. Skinny stuff is where this scanner shines. No more trying to line it up on the platen glass. No more multiple scans for long receipts. It scans quickly and accurately, and it tucks into a desk drawer when I'm done.
The scanning software works pretty well and I appreciate its integration with Quickbooks. iOS compatibility would have been nice but wasn't a deal breaker for me.
