 It's the perfect size for my kitchen drawers. Closes tight and feels very sturdy. It's actually a very nice box, almost too nice for keys. I feel I need to keep my watches in here haha. Works great (see my demo video)! FYI, I was so impressed I bought a second box for my spare keys... or my watches ;)

 Until a friend of ours in law enforcement mentioned to us recently, I honestly had no idea that the RFID transmitted from most vehicles key fobs could be copied and used to open, start and steal your vehicle without ever having the keys. Thieves have software that can detect and duplicate a key fobs RFID as its constantly trying to transmit to your vehicle at all times. Which is why many owners can start, lock, or unlock their cars from inside their homes, when walking out of a store, etc. Once it's been copied, it's like handing your key fob directly to the person wanting to steal it. Your vehicle's safety mechanism that shuts off your car if driven out of range from your actual key fob won't work since the thieves copied the RFID transmitted. Basically your vehicle thinks the key fob is always within range.
Our LE friend said that many of these car thieves are paid by and are a part of a much bigger crime organization and many of the stolen vehicles are immediately shipped out of the country. So, he told us about these boxes that block the RFID when your key fobs are inside and to get one.
As soon as this Faraday box delivered I unlocked our vehicles, put the fobs inside the box and sat inside our cars with the Faraday box to see if I could start the vehicles. Both vehicles said "key not detected" and would not start until I took the keys out of the box. This means it works!
I kind of wish it was a little bigger but I didn't take into account having house and door keys on our key rings themselves so it does quickly take up space. I would just keep that in mind when picking the box size.

The box itself seems sturdy and beyond simple to use. I don't see how it will ever stop working so I'm assuming this will be a one time buy. Plus, it's such a cheap purchase to help ensure our "not so cheap" vehicles!
I highly recommend.

I didn’t think this would work, and then I put my keys in it and tried to open the car door. I had the box in my hand and it didn’t open up. I took the keys out of the box and the locks worked like usual.

It’s cheap and it’s easy for safety.

I was unsure if it would work, I we have new vehicles- Lexus and a gmc truck with touch handle unlock and I took the keys in the box in my hand and walked out to the vehicle and touched the handle and it wouldn’t unlock, opened and it worked.

Build is cheaper but I was going to use a metal tin so this is better looking. I did want cheap and I was happy with what this at the price point.

It was what I wanted.

I purchased this rfid blocker box due to its looks and size after discovering the metal cookie tin did NOT block the signals for the newer (2018 and newer) Lexus vehicle. I always put our keys in a cookie tin and assumed the signal was being blocked preventing any "Relay Attack". After testing it one night, I discovered the metal tin does NOT block the key fob signal. I could start the newer car with the key fob inside the box. The older style fob was still blocked (2012 and older Toyota). I wanted a box big enough to hold the keys for both vehicles, but small enough to fit in a drawer out of sight in case someone made it inside our house somehow. I didn't want our keys in view for them to grab up and drive off. This box is the perfect size. It fits all of our (wireless) keys but also fits in a draw out of site. The signal is totally blocked for all of our vehicles. No more worry of relay attack as long as we remember to put the keys in the box. Yes, we could disable the constant wireless transmission from the key fob and do the same thing, but then we lose the convenience of not removing the key from a pocket/purse to unlock a door. Its something that you pay for so I cannot see disabling it when we paid for it in the cost of the car. We have not owned this box long enough to even consider rating the durability. At this low cost point I could buy another if needed for some reason.

Tested it and car is safe and can’t unlock while keys are in the box. Must have these days. The box is of good quality and looks really nice sitting on our console table at the entrance.
