    Great screen size, fish finder and GPS. We found ourselves on a Foggy day on Lake Erie. This device guided us perfectly into our access site. What an upgrade from a compass. The lakes are loaded and we haven't even used the full effects of this item yet. I recommend this item for any fishing enthusiasts. It is very easy to use and the price is manageable.

    great price for a high quality name brand fishing accessory small enough to be used in my kyak and big enough to be very effiecient for fishing no reflection on screen and color shows different types of depth and bottom identification. 4 inch screen easy to read and color helps in quick changes on bottom readings locating fish beds

    I have one on my Hobie and the transducer is mounted underneath. When fish are stacked up like the striper run in the Hudson you can see them there, they might not be biting though. The big thing I want to know is how deep the water is and what the bottom looks like. One minute you are in deep water the next it's shallow and full of weeds. In the bay, I can navigate the channel and stay where I want to be while drifting or trawling for fluke etc. Water temp is useful, speed is also useful. I often trawl and I want to keep my speed at around 1.5-2 mph and my Hobie can get up to 4. Now I have a second kayak and was going to just buy the transducer, however, that is about $100 itself and a whole new unit is $70 more! So I got a second one. This will allow me to take my nephew out on my other kayak and he has a fish finder.

    Great features. Easy to use, just make sure you mount the transducer in the water and not inside your kayak or boat otherwise you won't be able to get side view etc
