Bought a black GO2 in Feb 23' for 29.00. The title says it all. This is possibly the best Bluetooth speaker out there for less than $30-35 right now.

It's got a solid build feel. The front is a metal mesh, the rest some durable resin coated plastic. It'll probably survive a moderate amount of drops and dings.

It's small and very portable. Its portability options are better with one of the silicon cases with the carbiner clip on it. With the case, it can be hung from things (lanyards, belt loops, tree branches, whatever...) With no case, it can fit into cargo pockets, chest pockets on most shirts and jackets.

The sound quality is really good. Deep basses could be better, but they're good plenty good for such a small speaker with a passive radiator. The volume range is nice. It's loud enough to it clearly around 50 feet away indoors.

The run time is great. I usually get about 6 hours of podcast use from a full charge even though the spec sheet says 5 hours is expected. The charge time is as advertised, it's about 2.5 hours from empty to full. ---
The GO2 has a 3.5mm AUX input! This was a definitely a factor for my buying it. This speaker can be used with things that don't have Bluetooth as long as they have an AUX out port. The GO3, while beefier and has better bass, only supports Bluetooth, it has no AUX.

Extra bonuses - The GO2 has a microphone and can work as a speaker phone when paired with your mobile. It's also waterproof, so it's good for use in the shower or at the pool. All in all, the GO2 gives a huge bang for the buck in a pretty small package.

I know this is probably not what most of you are looking to hear about this speaker, but I bought it since it has an AUX cord capability to plug into my "spirit box" that I use on paranormal investigations. The only way to hear what is on the device is to either plug it into wired AUX headphones (we we use as well) or an AUX-capable speaker. Well, this speaker worked great, and we did actually catch some audible responses via the speaker when plugged into the spirit box! The audio is pretty good, so may end up using it as a speaker for my music if in a pinch since it's so small and portable. But, for the one or two of you looking to use this for spooky ghost hunting purposes, I can say for sure that it works great and catches EVPs :)

I got this JBL Go2 in order to have better and louder sound on the go than what my phone's built in speaker provides. I was very surprised at how well it performs despite it's very small size. The sound is full and clear, even at maximum volume, where most speakers this size would have poor distorted sound at these higher volumes. Of course this little speaker was lacking in the bass, which is to be expected from a speaker this small. But the sound was very good, full and rich, and with adequate bass and range for a speaker this size. Much better than any other speaker I've heard of similar size. The battery lasts for a longer time than I expected as well, we got over 4 hours of play time from a full charge. The specs say up to 5 hours, but 4 hours was surprising because we had it at very high volume the entire time.
The only minor complaint I have is that the charger connector is micro USB, would have preferred the now standard USB C. The newer version of this, the Go4 charges via USB C.
Overall I would highly recommend this Go2 if you are looking for a very small pocket sized Bluetooth speaker for your phone, tablet, or laptop. Nothing else in this size and price range can touch it!
