    Automatically connects after initial setup. Only hitch was turning off wifi to get it to initially connect but since then there’s been no issues.
    Small and unobtrusive. No lag in starting CarPlay on 2019 Jeep Cherokee.
    Good value for money.

    Update: after a few days using I cannot recommend this product. It will no longer automatically connect and when it does it frequently loses connection. Navigation is unreliable as Bluetooth connection id “fragile”
    Initially seemed a good value but its lack of consistency makes it unusable. I will be returning

    Positive part was the connectivity. Then after a couple of months, it stopped connecting, just went to black screen like setup and would not move from there. Plugged and unplugged item to no avail. Its not worth the purchase

    Worst connection. Sporadically would work in my new Bronco Sport 2024. Then stopped working altogether after only a few months. Waste of money!

    I plugged this unit into my SUV and paired it to my iPhone. Easy. Now, every time I turn on my SUV, the phone remains in my pocket and I have wireless CarPlay... well, ALMOST every time. Every now and then, when I turn on my SUV, I see the CarPlay button on the screen, meaning that a CarPlay device is connected. But when I touch "CarPlay", it doesn't work. This never happened when I used a cable to connect the phone directly. But when this happens, I simply unplug the wireless CarPlay adapter and plug it back in, wait a few seconds for it to do its "thang", and now everything works again. If it wasn't for this (occasional) little nuisance, I would have given it 5 stars.

    If it gets bumped at all it disconnects also my port is directly over my wireless charge pad in my Kia sportage and I was gonna use double sided tape to put it on the “wall” but every time I tried to attach it there it put pressure on the device connection and it lost power and disconnected I recommend one of the stick ones instead. I spent twice the money for one but I know it will fit me needs better. Does have good sound quality though.

    My wife has asked me to buy a car with wireless car play, instead I bought this devise and walla. She is happy, I am happy. Works like a charm. Automatically connects to her phone when she gets in the car. And it actually looks nice and small enough to hide under console. Both for both regular usb and usb c.
