    It works well so far. It's a cheap little boombox. Based on the reviews, some of the people who bought this clearly didn't understand that a little boombox doesn't sound like a professional sound system. The Bluetooth & the CD player are the main reasons I bought this. Bluetooth connected just fine and the CD player works.

    I don't like the lid of the CD player, it's very stiff and doesn't open easily. I wish it was a button that popped the lid open. But if you open it slowly it won't break.

    I agree that the tuning on the radio is kind of meh. The preset feature is weirdly designed and tricky to program. The antenna doesn't seem to do anything for reception.

    Overall it's exactly what I expected and what I was looking for. I've owned little boomboxes like this since I was a kid in the 80s and this performs exactly like they always did. The quality, the sound, and the functionality are all about the same as they've always been.

    The equalizer is limited to a few categories, but good enough for this price point. The sound is great, all the functions work. We only use it for CDs, but it'll also play USB drives, Bluetooth devices, and radio. Great little package! Doesn't look bad, either.

    I've been using the Megatek portable CD player for a few weeks now, and overall, I am quite satisfied with its performance. The design is sleek and compact, making it perfect for on-the-go use. The sound quality is clear and crisp, which enhances my listening experience significantly.

    However, I did notice that the volume isn't as loud as I had expected. While it's adequate for quiet environments, it struggles a bit in noisier settings. This is the main reason I'm giving it four stars instead of five.

    Aside from the volume issue, the player offers great features like anti-skip protection and easy navigation through tracks.

    In summary, the Megatek portable CD player is a reliable and well-designed device with excellent sound quality, but the volume level could be improved for those who prefer louder listening.

    The MEGATEK works and sounds good, especially if you have a workout room. One thing to remember is when you use the cd player, push down the disc until it locks in place before closing the lid. It is very reasonable but do not drop it, the player should be on stable surface to operate.

    I wanted something to replace my 20+ year old Memorex 2Xtreme CD player which seems to be slowly fading. The Megatek is about the same size. I'm very happy with it right out of the box. The variety of EQ settings are a nice touch and of course my old CD player had no Bluetooth. For the price I'm pleased with the sound. [That flare in the pic above the scan button is a reflection of an overhead light.]

    This is a good small boombox that puts out a decent sound for the price but my small complaint is that CD playback is not seamless between tracks. There is an audible pause between CD tracks that you should know about before you purchase.

    The radio function is good and I can pick up stations I enjoy fairly clearly with the antenna extended. Bluetooth connectivity functions the way it should with effortless pairing.

    I haven’t tried the aux or usb functions but I assume they work as advertised.
