    I never really thought about it, but the battery in these things doesn’t last forever. I needed to use my tile to find my keys maybe seven times a year, but it’s “on” and ready for service 24/7 so I guess it sucks up juice that way. So just know that you’ll need to replace it periodically (I got an alert on my phone that the tile was critically low on battery). Mine lasted about three years.

    Also, the connector piece where you’d hook it to your keychain is slimmer on the new one. I hope the plastic doesn’t snap on my keychain. I’ll update if so.

    As for getting rid of my old tile and updating it to the new one, it was super easy, even for me who was prepared for frustration. I opened the tile app and it asked if I wanted to replace my old tile. Then it said to hold the new tile to my phone. Then it worked.

    Lastly, I price shopped (even though it’s a fair price), and while the tile website is less expensive because they often have promos, they do charge $5.99 shipping and it takes 5-7 days, so Amazon is a better deal if you have prime.

    This is an excellent product and better than my AirTag. I purchased this as a gift and learned that is has its own app but can also be used in the “Find My” section of your iPhone with easy set up. It has a louder ringtone than the AirTag, and can be used to reverse track your iPhone as well by pressing the button. The ringtone is unique and notable. These additional features add a lot to convenience and have a real competitive edge over AirTag. I will be buying more for myself!

    It functions well and has already found my wallet twice and my keys once since I bout the tikes. I like that I don't need to subscribe to any services in order for them to work they are durable and a good value and quality. I will probably buy more.

    Pros: These are absolutely helpful. You can connect them to your keys (or any other losable objects) and it will find them through the app on your phone. Moreover, you can also find your phone with it if you have your keys but not the phone. Of course, the phone has to be on standby, not entirely switched off. But for everyday situations, it is quite good.
    Cons: I would have given this 5 stars if there weren't two drawbacks: First, the app is a bit cumbersome and the setup required a couple of retries and iterations until it worked in both directions (phone finds tile, tile finds phone). Second, you can't replace the battery. It will simply die after 3 years and be thrown onto the ever growing pile of consumer garbage. Not sustainable. Too bad.

    If I had a dollar for every time I lost my keys, wallet, or sanity, I could retire. But thanks to this little Tile tracker, I can now find my stuff and avoid giving myself a mini heart attack.

    This thing is like my personal Sherlock Holmes. I slap it on my keychain, and the next time I inevitably yell, “Where are my keys?!” the Tile calmly chirps back, “Over here, genius!” It works with Bluetooth and syncs perfectly with my phone, which is ideal because, let’s be real, I lose that too sometimes.

    The range is impressive—I tested it by “accidentally” hiding my keys under a couch cushion. Tile found them before I even broke a sweat. And the reverse feature? If I can’t find my phone, I just press the Tile button, and my phone starts ringing like a needy ex.

    It’s sleek, lightweight, and doesn’t look bulky on my keys. The battery lasts long, which is great because I’m already busy forgetting enough things without adding “replace the Tile battery” to the list.

    If you’re a chronic misplacer like me, this tracker will save your time, energy, and possibly your relationships. You’ll wonder how you survived without it.

    It’s incredibly easily to set up, all you have to do is download the Tile app and scan your QR code on the back. The tracking is always accurate and I have used this plenty of times to find my phone, or my keys. The fact that it can do both has been an absolute life saver.

    I have 0 complaints, you do have to keep your Bluetooth on 24/7 to actively track your keys but that isnt a hinder or game changer for me!

    The tile is super loud, and you can definitely hear its pitch from a good range. I’ve lost it in my bathroom and heard it from the living room. I also love how small it is, it doesn’t feel bulky or too dramatic. Get it!

    This is the latest model. Hangs from my cats collar. Under 30 feet, sometimes no result. But, I left the collar at my vacation home and 101 miles away, the Tile app tells me where I forgot it. Updating frequently. My Amazon Alexas seem to talk to the tile.

    I bought this tile for the white elephant gift exchange at my sisters house, my kids mother wound up with it. I bought the tile because I have iPhone n so does most but not all of my family. Tile is compatible with both iOS and android. Although, there is a $2.99 a month fee.. which is stupid and is the reason for 3 stars. I mean AirTags don’t cost a monthly fee.. anyways, we’ve tested this little thing 3 ways from Sunday and it passed everything.. it’s easy to find using your find my app..
    Update: so turns out I’m an idiot. This does work via the find my app on ios and i imagine it hooks up to android also. I took my son to get his haircut and left my keys home and drove my wife’s car.. just out of curiosity I looked to see if it tracked my tag… it did.. so I gave it another star!!
