    Son is delivering food for extra money, so I wanted to get him a dash cam. Picked this one, and it works great. Even comes with the microSD card to record to. Was fairly easy to install, and has multiple options to do so. You can plug into the OBDII port, use a fuse tap, or wire it directly into the battery. We went with the fuse tap option, and connected to the radio fuse. Works great. A car cigarette lighter option would have been even easier, but this didn't have that option. So far it's working great, and very happy with this item.

    This dash cam has all of the typical features found on the better quality dash cams. The image quality during daylight is very good, possibly excellent, while the night time video quality is passable and should provide enough detail to document an accident. This camera supports the use of a second camera which is not included which would typically capture motion behind your vehicle. The camera itself seems to be well constructed and doesn't feel flimsy. The suction mount attaches snugly, feels sturdy and provides a secure attachment to the windshield. I live in South Florida and typically look for a camera with a high operating temperature. Unfortunately, the documentation for this camera does not specify temperature limits.
    The camera comes with a glossy attractive manual with a lot of information. However, the manual could be improved by being better organized and using a less verbose, more articulate writing style and a review by a native English speaker. I understand statements such as “We hope that you can not only using our item happily , but can also enjoy” but parsing the text to determine what is meant to be conveyed is distracting. The manual should start with the basics such as how to use the menu system used for configuration. The camera has 2 separate menus and then the operating mode display. You toggle through the 2 menus and the operating display by pushing the M key on the side. When you have the menu with the settings you want, you push the up or down arrows on the side to highlight the menu item you want to work with. With the desired menu item highlighted, quickly push and release the power button on the top of the camera to select, the up/arrow/down arrow to highlight the value that you want and then push the power button again to select. Note that if the camera is recording as indicated by the flashing red dot on the LCD screen then you need to take the camera out of record mode by quickly pressing the power button.
    Contrary to some other reviews that claim the camera is defective because the camera immediately turns off after powering up when not plugged in, the annual clearly states that this is the way it is supposed to work. The camera has a very small internal battery that only has enough juice to store the date and time and to close and save any video files that are open when you turn the car off.
    This camera does not have an app to view recorded videos. You can either view recorded videos on the camera’s LCD screen or remove the memory card and play the videos on a computer or other device in which you can insert a memory card. The camera comes with what looks like a USB drive but is in actuality a card reader. You take the memory card out of the dash cam and insert it in the USB card reader. The colored side of the memory card faces up and doesn’t push all of the way into the USB card reader. Just push it in until you can’t push any more which will leave about one eighth of an inch of the memory card sticking out of the USB card reader.

    Just to note, this is the first dash cam I’ve owned. But it was really easy to set up, you just snap it together, add the power source and that’s it. It starts recording as soon as it has power. I put it up in my car. It came with a 32 GB SD card. They shipped it inside the device, so if you can’t find that’s where it is. It’s removable. In the instructions it states that the device is automatically record/save, when the SD card is full, it will just start deleting the old stuff to add the new stuff, automatically, you don’t have to do anything. You only have to do something if you need the video. Which you can take out and put into the usb adapter it comes with to view the pictures on your computer. The cam is adjustable, there are two screwy knobs, the suction cup part where it goes onto your window, once you suction cup it, you need to turn the dial that near the suction cup to lock, so that the device stays on the window. The power button is on the top right side. The only thing I don’t like is that the device doesn’t automatically turn off when my car turns off. Like the radio will shut down, lights, everything, and the cam is still drawing power from my car’s battery to stay on.

    I was looking to replace my old dash cam that stopped turning on and thought this looked like a decent replacement. The thing that had me was it came with an SD card and it uses a usb C.

    First impression was good but not great. It looks nearly identical to my old one just with a different name on it. The construction feels solid though.

    Setup is easy and quick. The charging cable is long enough to run it up above the windshield and down the pillar to keep the cord somewhat hidden. The cig lighter adapter has a usb outlet on it also. The camera has a good variety of functions for loop recording, motion detection, gforce detection, and others. Not bad for a basic dash cam. If your power outlets are ign powered then the camera will auto turn on and off with the key. It will also auto record when turned on.

    The daytime video quality is great, but I found the night time video; which is most of my driving; to be a bit grainy. I found the suction cup mount subpar, even with its adhesive backing. Mine fell off in a day. I had cleaned the windshield well and felt like I got a good initial adhesion but it didn’t last. I have since moved it from behind the mirror to basically sitting on the dash for support while using the suction cup on the windshield.

    Overall you still get a good value with this dash cam and its options.

    I temporarily had this installed in my truck. It stuck to the window fine and it worked fine. I have no complaints except that the video feed is very distracting. There is probably a turn off feature on the LCD screen but I have already moved on...but honestly it's fine. When I can relocate the videos I uploaded to my computer and provide a short version, I will update this in the coming days....
