    I wanted this to be like an AirTag but for Android. Setup was straightforward and I labeled the four tags. I was about to travel to Australia and New Zealand and thought it would be fun to track my checked and carry-on luggage.

    The Chipolos would tell me their location if they were near my phone, but once they moved away the Find Device app could not find them. At one point I could see my bags being loaded onto the plane and a crew of baggage handlers nearby but still Find Device could not find the Chipolos.

    These will go into a drawer and will never be used again as they are worthless. I had such high hopes too.

    I have not had to put this to a real test as yet but seems to work okay so far. Built in sound is pretty loud considering the size of the device. Only thing I am not sure of is how well the Google Find My device network works when the device is out in the "wild". I have used the network to locate phones and it worked well, but phones are more active devices than this tracker. I will have to experiment more with it.

    I've used these on a few trips now, and they do seem to show the location of my luggage. I really have not needed much detail on it, I just like knowing that when I arrive at an airport that my luggage is at least in the same city as me! Bonus that it works with Google's Find My Device network as well.

    This was a Christmas gift for my son and grandson and I found the most important feature was that this item worked with android and the iphone; I feel that it was a wise investment for security reasons.

    So I replaced my Samsung phone and had to use a different tracker then the samsung one, the bottom line is that it works, but not as good the Samsung tag, does not connect as quick and takes longer to locate if it's far away.

    The directions didn't work. There isn't a Tech Support phone number. I explained the issue to Chipolo Online Tech Support but got back responses like "Sorry you are having trouble. Please tell us your issue" When I wrote my issue, I got the same response over and over. So basically, there isn't really a Tech Support for this product. I ended up sending it back.

    Liked: It was super easy to set up. When you are in Bluetooth range, you can find your item quite nicely.

    Disliked: I brought these chiefly to find my bags should they be lost during travel. Most of the time the app cannot find the bags within the same airport.

    I was excited to try these but, like others, I'm thinking these are sadly not yet ready for real life. I'll hang onto them for a while to see if Chipolo can send an update that might make them work better.
