I use this in my work to draw quick accurate pictures as an under structure for painting. Once I fugured out I could bypass downloading an app to use it by simply opting for the HDMI input, it works great! I have a plug that goes straight from my phone or iPad to the projector.
    The picture is amazing.
For fun over Christmas vacation we hooked it up to my son’s Xbox and played video games on our family room wall. Kids had a blast, what am I saying-I had a blast. We watched movies on it again through the Xbox. Lots of fun.

Not the lightest one but pretty good. The images are clear and it is very easy to use. So far no problems.

    Everything was intact.
    Nothing beats Epson's Lumens.
    Epson deserves the accolade.

I am starting to think Amazon monitors my shopping history. I recently got a old projector for like $100 off eBay and decided to set up a home theater. After I got everything set up, I was wondering how much a gaming projector would cost me. A week later this projector shows up in my feed. Yes, thank you, of course I'll take it.

I'll say this much, Epson didn't change much, I suppose that's partially because they don't really need to change all that much. This is good and bad.

Picture quality is great. In the above pictures, the lit room is playing American Dad off my Roku box. In the dark room, I am playing Kakarot on my PS4. Is it 4K? No, but I wouldn't expect it to be 4K in the current price range.

Audio syncs up just fine. I haven't had any problems with any noticeable input lag while playing video games, which is a huge plus considering they advertise this for office work and I am using it for a home theater.

The projector weighs about the same as my old one, which is really surprising. It's roughly around the same size as well. Considering how old my projector is, I am really surprised at this. It isn't heavy, but let's just say you need to make sure if it's on a shelf or hanging that it's going to be SECURE.

I really wish there had been a button on the controller that just automatically flipped the screen, because trying to do it upside down is a pain in the arse and of course the setting is kind of buried in the menu too.

Speaker is pretty standard, but that's to be expected. Does an okay job.

Fans are actually louder than my old one. They are fairly noticeable. This projector tends to get warm and then later hot just as quickly as my old one too. Just as hot as my old one as well. I am really surprised they haven't been able to do a better job with the cooling.

I don't know why they did this, but on the bottom of most projectors are anchor points in case you wanted to hang this thing from the ceiling. Most projectors I saw have the anchor points in three spots, in opposite directions from one another, this one, two are like that and the third is just ploped right in the middle where the main ceiling anchor is, so I can't use it. Seems like a weird design decision.

For the most part this is a huge upgrade for me, I think for the price entry this is a very good projector and if you wanted to use it for home theater or gaming, like I do, then I think it's a nice middle entry point.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not very bright

All in all I’m disappointed. I got it for outdoor theater movies and it just isn’t strong enough to push to a screen unless it’s sunset or past sunset. Didn’t really test it until after my return date so I’m stuck with it.

Currently I have a firestick attached and mounted on the ceiling in a 15x20 foot room. Adjusted size and projecting right on the wall. After pool is installed, will bring out back to float and watch movies.
