Decent speakers, good upgrade for those they replaced

They seem heavy on the mid-bass and treble. Boosting the midrange and backing off the treble helps. The good news is it's possible to get very good sound out of them with the right EQ. Big improvement over the stock speakers in my boat, so I'm a happy camper.

Great sound, and marine grade

Added these to new speaker pods for my Bronco and wanted marine grade, just in case it rains when the top is off. Sounds great, even with stock amp, and without ForScan power level adjustments yet.

Outside Installation

These are installed outside in the cockpit area and the covers we bought do not fit the 6.5 inch speakers despite the fact they are 7 inches in diameter on the outside of the plastic decorative ring. So we are going to find out if these whole up to the Sub-tropical Florida sun, or not. Guess time will tell. Photos may be in the future. And an possible update in the future for longevity of life in the Florida sun. Not too many things can pass that test for a very long period of time. Also MSC (Marine Speaker Covers) could be in the future. Hope they fit better than their Chinese counterparts do, which is not at all, floppy and far too loose.
