Great case for the tablet

I thought my other Amazon Fire Tablet case would fit this one. After all it was a 2021 release. Low and behold the 2021 release case was just a tad bit too big by what seems to be millimeters.

The knew what they were doing with the 2023 refresh. The cases look similar but the newer release of the tab is slimmer which is great. The case does what it says, it protects and is pretty grippy in your hands. The cases form factor is sleek. The case is not cheap but you get what you pay for. If you are looking for simple protection for your 2023 release Fire tablet you cannot go wrong with this one.

It's not the best prop to hold up the kindle HD fire, but it works and will turn off the kindle if you shut the cover. And it's plenty sturdy enough to protect the screen. It's my go-to cover.

In a pinch it’ll work

I wasn’t impressed with this case when I went to install it on my tablet and it didn’t fit. I really had to muscle it in there. Dropped my tablet maybe 2ft (from the arm of a rocking recliner) on carpet, and broke the plastic housing that holds the tablet in all 4 corners. The spot for the rear camera doesn’t line up with the holes as described either. Too expensive for the pain of installing it and it broke way too easy.
Pros:
Color was nice, material was nice and I loved the way you had a built in stand.

I was skeptical that I would like the texture of the outside cover. I had thought the cover was fabric that would soil too easy. It's study and NOT FABRIC but a plastic textured cover. The Kindle snaps in easily but I would apply a screen protector first before snapping in the Kindle.

This case is well made, protects the fire without being bulky or too heavy and my favorite feature is the magnet holds very well keeping the tablet steady when viewing movies or other videos.

The case fits the Fire Tablet very nicely. It looks like it will do a great job of keeping the unit safe. The only problem I have with it is that instead of getting a lilac case which I had ordered - I received a black case. It is not as attractive but I guess it will not show the dirt.
