I purchased 9 of these GPS units for my fleet of vehicles. These work extremely well. Geo locating, etc. I went with the premium program and paid quarterly. This gives me all of the features and 5 second updates on the map, which in my business is extremely helpful. Technical support was outstanding when installing. I also have spoken with Mervin on the help chat, who was proficient and guided me to setting up new user access. I highly recommend this product.

Was looking for something that was easy install, no charging required, offered live updates versus downloadable history. Great quality. Super accurate. Lots of features and they are about to release a new app. Support is great!
The product itself took about 3 minutes to install. Its small size let me tuck it away nicely. Will be purchasing for more vehicles! Note, I use this on my personal vehicle but I can see the value this would have to manage large fleets. It’s perfect for the every day consumer as well as larger company fleets.

ORDERING: I ordered through Amazon and PRIME status. Ordering and delivery was smooth!

UNPACKING: East unpacking. The device has a sticker of IMEI, MAC, serial numbers (you will need to activate, before or after or around setting up at your car) and a clear manual.

SET UP: The device comes with "Y" connectors for + and - terminals. I have upgraded my car battery terminals to multi-ways version so, for me, just needed to attach at one of the axillary terminals. The cables are long enough to set up in any car under hood. "Arrow side facing to the front" but for my truck, because of the set up, I had it sideways and still tracking on spot! Cables and adhesives included are long enough and strong!

GPS/TRACKER/Subscription: Monthly payment is about $30 for basic and do have advanced options too. I went for the basic one only because this will be as needed tracking. Tracker is relatively precise for me, at my home, accurate, at the work place, it's precise because my work place is huge as is and "goes by many addresses". GPD/TRACKER records even how long you've been at one place and your daily routine/route! THE APP is easy to setup and use!

OVERALL: highly recommended!

We previously had a battery powered unit that worked well, but charging was a pain. This unit always has power when the car is on. It is also discreet and unlikely to be tampered with intentionally or unintentionally.

Also the app is great. Very simple to use and has everything you need.

Finally support is also very conveniently available by text. Trish was just helping me out with my billing and made it so easy!

Really easy to install and i like how easy it is to Customize the settings. But the app crashes sometimes but not often. Also the live update may sometimes take up to 10 minutes to show your Exact location.

This was relatively easy to install on my own, but it was extremely painful to set up. Set up is not instant, and it is not self-service. As others pointed out, it's a bad idea to try and activate this outside of their office hours because you'll 100% hit activation roadblocks and you'll need their help.

TLDR - far from real-time, when I finally got it to work, geofence notifications came in at least 1.5 hours later. I used the app in real time as I drove, and while the location updates, there’s no trip history after 30 mins after I ended my trip.

First, when you activate the device, you'll need to wait an hour or so for them to send you the account details before you can start signing into the dashboard. This suggests that account is manually setup and not automated.

You'll get a free month promo code in the product box. During activation, you can apply the promo code. However, this is not a free 1st month trial like typical subscriptions. I was charged immediately upon activating, which confused me. When I called customer service to check if my promo can be applied, I was told the free month basically means the second charge will be delayed by a month. i.e. 2 months later if monthly, 4 months later if quarterly, 13 months later if annual. This was not made clear ANYWHERE on Amazon or on its website. This is unlike industrial norms and sneaky. This setup is so unusual that I do not have confidence that the company will charge this correctly, even though they claim it has been like this. This is also bizarre, because signing up the larger plans indicate we as the customer are willing to trust this company, but we are now penalized proportionally more for putting that larger trust. At the end of the 1st, 3rd or 12th month (based on your plans), we now have to check if we were not charged. Who would remember so? Perhaps the company is relying that we would forget to check.

Next, I couldn't get any GPS signal after test driving around. App shows no data at all. When I called tech support, they were very professional and helpful. The reason was for not transmitting/receiving any data was because the SIM card in the device wasn't working. So, the tech folks needed to raise a ticket to another team to "reset" my SIM Card and I need to wait for another 2-3 hours. So I ended my call, hopeful. But as of this point, after 9 hours after I installed the device, after 5 hours after my initial "SIM reset request" was made, it is still not gotten the signal yet!

Even now the backend team is trying to configure my device. The second tech support person says "it can take up to A DAY OR SO for the device to be activated. And upon activation and finding the signal, I'll would be able to track each minute based on my plan.". Unfortunately, by this point I was fuming, and my trust in this company had eroded and I do not have confidence in this claim.

I told the tech person I live in a city. They say it is due to signal interference. I call BS.

Even though the web UI is better than the app, there are many areas where the UI is not clear. I shouldn’t need a training video to tell me how to use this software. Even then, the videos on their website is outdated.

I finally got the device to work. I was eager to to check the results. After driving around, I see that it’s far from real-time. Trip histories are at least 30 mins late, notifications are not even delivered 1.5 hours later. My experience has been extremely disappointing.

Mervin a tech with Brickhouse helped me get everything up and running via text which was extremely useful and quick! I signed up for the 5sec refresh rate plan of $50 for my vehicle since I do a lot of stop and go in all different areas of the city at night so as a peace of mind I purchased this module and the $50 plan for the quickest GPS refresh rate. Thanks again to Mervin for getting me setup and running with this unit now I have a better peace of mind knowing if something does happen to my vehicle I can track it and relay information to authorities if need be. Well worth the money and the plan is virtually real-time GPS tracking! The module is tucked beside the battery so it's not easily spotted when opening the hood. My picture is just for reference on size and ease of installation.
