What really sold me on this case was that the stylus is held securely inside the case. On my previous digital tablet (Boox Nova Air), the magnet for the stylus was much stronger than the Kindle's, and I STILL lost the stylus the first time I took the tablet on a trip! Elastic loop retainers help, but the stylus tends to catch on stuff and/or rotate.

The new design of this case has a cutout that is about 1.25" long on the side so that you no longer have to try to fish the stylus out of its groove like it appears the old version did. The case seems solidly built and the Scribe snaps in securely. I can't imagine it popping out randomly when opening/closing as other reviewers have described, so maybe that was improved in this version as well.

A very nice, slim case with some better features at less than half the cost of the Amazon cases! Note that CoBak also makes a version of this case with built-in stands and hand loop. That looked interesting, but the reviews indicated the stands can be fragile. It also presumably adds to the thickness of the cover, which I didn't want.

Luck caused me to order this kindle cover. I bought the signature kindle bundle and it told me the bundle wouldn't be delivered for nearly two months. Then the kindle arrived separately, but I felt uneasy using it until the protective cover arrived, which was still to be at least six weeks away. So, I picked out this cover and ordered it as it was to arrive in seven days. Once ordered the bundled cover arrives two days later, and two days after that the Cobak cover arrives two days early. I love the Cobak cover much better than the more expensive bundled cover. Yeah, it's much thicker, but it gives the feeling of providing more protection. It also allows the kindle to stand up when I'm eating a meal alone. It has a band to hold it to your hand, although I haven't exactly found the best comfortable situation to use this feature. I put the bundled cover away for use at some future date.

I love the slim, tight, and lightweight fit for my kindle scribe. Device feels secured and protected without adding any bulk. Full access to USB-C connection and power button, even when closed. This is one of the few cases available that has a designated pen storage slot that is tucked into the case, and not an external loop holder. Theres even a tiny built-in box for extra pen tips....which you'll need since the pen tips wear out fast!

There is no foldable option for propping up the device. (I prefer the rigid cover for protection anyway, and I use a gooseneck stand to position my device exactly where needed for optimal reading when sitting, standing, or laying down. Pair this with a remote page-turner and you've got yourself the perfect setup for a hands-free marathon reading session!)

Works well when holding the device right or left handed. Fits nicely into purses, totes and bags made to fit 10+ inch tablets.

This case works great. It is durable and well made. The pen fits nicely in its slot magnetically with a closable container above the pen in which to keep extra tips. The cover also stays closed magnetically which also automatically turns off the Scribe device. This cover fits nicely around the Scribe device. The product looks and feels like a rubber/plastic material in which they call it Faux Leather. I personally would call it a comfortable non stick material. Although I don’t think anyone would mistake it for leather, it still is very nice a comfortable to hold and carry. This heavy duty cover comes at with heavier weight. The Kindle cover (which is twice the price) is half the weight of this cover. The Scribe with this cover makes it relatively heavy. With that said, it is lighter than most of the hard back books that I have. If you do not mind it being around seven once’s heavier than the Kindle cover and it not looking like leather, this is an awesome cover, especially for the affordable price. Personally, I would purchase this again.

This is a great case for the kindle scribe. It allows you to open it like a book, it’s a hard case but not bulky and the kindle feels very secure. Nice place for the pen as well that makes it hard for the pen to fall out. Love it.

I love this case, works and feels better than the one that came with the set purchase. I like that it puts the pen inside the case, not on the edge. Makes it easier to travel with and is a cleaner look. Plus the case also holds the kindle in it, not just by the magnet. All in all awesome case.

My scribe fits perfectly in this case. The storage compartment for the extra tips is nice but the best part is the durability of the case!

I purchased this case and started using it in February of 2024. In July, one of the magnets broke loose and I ended up cracking the screen because the magnet slid between the inside of the case and the face of the scribe. It is somewhat my own fault as I knew the magnet was loose. However - BEFORE the screen was cracked, I had reached out (with pictures) to Coback explaining the situation and asking if there was any way to get a replacement case or anything. Absolutely zero response.
So, although I actually liked the case, just beware it has the very real potential of permanently damaging your Scribe - pretty much the exact opposite that it is supposed to do. These e-ink screens are fragile and trapping a small magnet in there will ruin your day.
