Use this mainly for outdoor use in the yard. The sound really surprised me. It has weight to it which is a good thing to me because it means it has beefy speakers and battery. I think it sounds better than my JBL Flip 5 which I use at work. The battery lasts a long time & The two equalizer settings are nice for the bass settings. Paired with my I phone right away. Looked at a ton of Bluetooth speakers decided on the W KING and I’m glad I did. Well worth the money. And my dog Matt likes it to. He told me!

I have a habit of buying speakers in all sizes. I gave this one a shot but, honestly, didn't have a ton of confidence. I had never even heard of the brand. Frankly, this is one of my favorite speakers to travel with. It provides a nice, clear, and full sound. The speaker is durable and has a nice over-the-shoulder strap. I personally like JBL but if you're looking for something that has good sound for a good price, this just might be for you.

Updated from 3 stars to 4 after a comparison.

I really did my research and was pretty jazzed to get this product.

Honestly, I got it today and the sound was in a word 'underwhelming'. The highest volume is far from booming given the peak wattage, and the sound quality is a bit tiny and wooden. As a result, I just bought another competitive model today to try them side by side. Given the great reviews for this speaker, I was really hoping for a lot more.

The good - quality materials and construction, the unit feels solid if not heavy, it must have good magnets and batteries. The looks attractive if you are into the rugged look. I really liked the adjustable strap as opposed to a handle which will help when carrying my paddle board down to the water, with a cooler. Or tossing it around my neck while on my mountain bike. Today both activities are a constant juggling act with my old smaller speaker with a small handle. The strap is probably the main differentiator and reason why I bought this model.

The just ok to not so good - no frills, it has just the simplest of controls. The equalizer button is only marginally functional. No ability to link more than one for stereo (yeah I knew this going in but with noting), IP6 rather than IP7. If you are going to have water protection why not deliver what's really needed, for a poolside or on the water unit, namely protection from submersion. The sound quality is definitely clear but not 'rich and crisp' like other units in the same price range some friends have. The upper volume is far more limited than expected.

Maybe I will update and raise or lower the rating after I test side by side with the alternate unit I just ordered.

Update. The second speaker came in. It has slightly better sound but not markedly so. I kept this one for the convenience of the strap. In the end for under $75 how picky can you be? To get truly fantastic sound and booming volume you have to triple the price. I am good with this one!

So right away I like the box it came in. When I went to lift it out of the box it had some weight to it,. which to me is a good good sign right away.. especially when it comes to speakers. It has a few sound changing settings that you may change. And I like all the settings. Clear. A little more mid. Or a little deeper. little more bass..Etc. I was not expecting this much clear crispy loud sound. and ridiculously powerful sound without any distorting. I've had other Bluetooths that I thought were good. But this is quality. The plastic doesn't feel cheap or flexible. even the mesh grill with the logo in front is solid and doesn't flex. The rubber buttons don't feel thin and the clicks of the buttons even have a firm feel and nice distinct click. it even came with a shoulder strap ready to go.. way beyond what I thought it would be. Want a speaker that checks off everything on the list? And don't cost a fortune at half the quality and size and sound for a brand name? Then choose this speaker. I'm glad I didn't go jbl bose or anything else. Glad I searched.

I did a lot of research when looking for an outdoor Bluetooth speaker. It had to be waterproof or at least water resistant, clear sound decent bass and ability to be heard throughout my yard. This little guy checks off every box! My kids are in the pool every day and like to listen to music. This has been used daily and is still going strong amid the many splashes of water from the pool. The battery life is also pretty great! My only complaint is that the black casing tends to get hot very quickly when in the sun. I usually put a towel on top to keep it from overheating. It hasn’t done that yet but I don’t want to chance it. Definitely recommend!
