    Easy to program and easy to replace original key blade! Beats paying $100 at the dealer for a fob with mushy buttons. The clicky buttons are so satisfying!

    The two key fobs that came with my car, the buttons wore out to the point I could no longer unlock my car. I ordered this in hopes of not needing to pay dealership prices for a new one, and it worked wonderfully. Came within the time frame. Called a locksmith to get the key cut and programmed and has been working beautifully ever since. Highly recommend.

    I bought this to use the hinge part with my existing key. The pin used to hold the key in place on the hinge is not removable. It appears to be glued/soldered in place. Which is not how the item should be made. If you want to use your existing key with this fob, purchase another product.

    Once you do your research it will be fairly easy. Fob itself works great, even with factory remote start, cheap fast delivery great! Ok now you need to know. You still need to pay to have it cut. Most likely from a lock smith. I paid $70 just for the cut to a LS and that was the best in town that I could find. Don’t even try to do ace hardware or big box. They might say they can do it on their website. But when you walk in the whole place will shut down because they don’t even know what a key is. Let alone a newer more advanced one. You need to have one working set of keys and fob for this to be pretty easy. Once cut the new key still doesn’t do much. You certainly can’t drive with it. It will open the door but your horn will still go off on the anti theft thing. You tube has easy program instruction that worked exactly like the guys in the video did. All told about 100 bucks for new extra key and fob all working just like a dealer one. 1/3 the price. So I guess it was worth the leg work. If you have ZERO keys. My gut tells me it will be way more complicated.

    It was a challenge switching the cut key to this key fob because I couldn't get the spring put back together to allow the key to pop out when presses.

    Needed this in a hurry and amazon did not disappoint. It came fast and I was able to take to the key shop to get keyed and I was up and running asap. So far it is working just as good as the original for my buick. Hopefully time will tell and it does ok. But so far, for the price you cant beat it! Thank you again !
